Buny Whey was fantastic and catered well for our needs for our annual staycation. A wonderfully large yet cosy cottage which is well equipped with the highlights for us being the huge garden and picturesque views. Our Belgian Shepherd certainly loved the extra space to stretch his legs! Great location and easy access to both the South and North coasts. Fowey was a delightful town to walk around and stop for a Sunday lunch. The Eden Project was fabulous (strongly recommend pre booking, particularly if raining!) and Cardinham Woods were fantastic to walk around (again particularly if raining!). The owners were also lovely. Friendly and helpful with plenty of advice if needed whilst remaining unobtrusive. We would happily return to Buny Whey....

Buny Whey was our first holiday in a number of years. We didn't have a lot of time off and had specific requirements, it met all of them... and didn't disappoint. The weather helped - first proper dry/sunny week of the year! It wasn't far away from biggish towns and the coast. But more locally, there was the pub, farm shop and award winning distillery (tours available). We would definitely recommend staying here....

This is a lovely barn conversation in a lovely setting very peaceful garden was lovely for the dog who enjoyed running around the owners on hand for anything we needed got lots of recommendations from them the best place was the Duchy garden centre had lunch was lovely a few issues with the living room furniture as they were old and uncomfortable and the duvet on the super king bed was very very heavy maybe needs to be updated other than that we had a nice break ...

Great base to explore the coast and inland attractions. If you're a National Trust member, Lanhydrock is very nearby and the house contains many of the original owner's furnishings and artefacts. All set in superb gardens. A bit further afield (near St Austell) The Eden Project is stunning. We spent over 4 hours there and still didn't see it all! Beaches are obviously a matter of your own preferences but for a taste of "original Cornwall," the fishing village of Mevagissey is well worth a visit. Fresh fish eateries right on the harbour. And at the end of any day, The Three Crowns in Lanlivery is a really welcoming pub. As for Buny Whey - we'd be very happy to return and stay again....
