A peaceful location, only a pub in the small village but not far from the sea and lovely countryside.

A beautiful, well equipped cottage. Dorset is a beautiful county and this was the perfect place to stay

Excellent cottage in a lovely rural location in Dorset. However please be aware that despite the description on the website it has a poor to non existent WiFi service. We choose it on this feature because I am the Director of a business and needed to be in touch which proved near impossible.

We're sorry if the WiFi was an issue during your stay. There was a problem with the local connection at the time and we're pleased to report that this has now been resolved. We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay overall and would love the opportunity to welcome you back in the future. Julie, Customer Support

Excellent , very comfortable cottage , newly decorated, everything you could need provided . Beautiful location, very peaceful . Lots to visit within a short distance .

What a lovely place to stay! As it happened we had glorious weather the whole time, but if it had been raining solidly we would have been very happy staying in this bright little cottage, with its big conservatory and views out over the fields. We were very comfortable, and made to feel welcome. The kitchen is well equipped, and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Dorset in May is very pretty!... maybe it's an exceptional year for hawthorn and cow parsley? I've never seen so much white lace. We recommend the Crown, the pub which is a few hundred yards along the road – superb food. Our first evening we turned up just too late to get a meal, but the landlady found us two beef pies she had just made and was intending to freeze, and sold them for us to take back to the cottage... "I can't bear to see anybody hungry!" They were really good, and we had two very lovely meals later in the week at the pub.

A lovely cottage with plenty of room and all the amenities you could wish for. Good location and very responsive housekeeper.

We had a lovely break in a very comfortable cottage which was an excellent base for exploring a really interesting area of the Dorset countryside. We were very lucky with the weather, so did get out and about a lot, but would have been equally comfortable in the cottage just relaxing and enjoying the views. There's everything you need in the cottage and we felt very privileged to be staying in someone's home. It's set in a very quiet village setting with an easy stroll down to The Crown in the centre of the villlage. Finally, if there was anything at all we needed to check, Mandy the housekeeper provided amazing support!

It is hoped that future guests will not have to put up with what we had to endure. I'm sure they won't unless the neighbouring cottage has more work done to te cottage

We are so sorry for the disruption during your stay, the owners were not made aware of the neighbours' work otherwise of course would have been in touch prior to your stay. We are glad that we were able to arrange a refund to resolve the matter for you. Sarah, Customer Support

Such a lovely, comfortable, clean and welcoming cottage, we loved it and would very much like to come back. The location is amazing, in the middle of the countryside with nice views all around, not far from breathtaking beaches (15-20 minutes drive) and with the Crown Inn, an excellent pub, right there in the village. We regret not to have booked a whole month at Celtic Blessing!

This cottage is in a great location making it easy to get to places on the coast including West Bay and Lyme Regis. It has wonderful views from the conservatory and is very comfortable and clean.

Lovely location, beautiful cottage with all amenities, great village pub. Peaceful area

We love the peaceful ambience of this cottage. A very relaxing week.

Celtic Blessing is a very comfortable and homely cottage. It is in a really lovely area and the countryside around is full of interesting birds and other wildlife. It has comfortable beds and a log fire if the weather turns cold.

This is a cosy and comfortable cottage for any time of the year.

Lovely location, ideal for reaching all areas to west or east of Dorset . Excellent views of the garden from in the cottage garden room with abundant wildlife at the rear. We saw white deer on the hill on several occasions, buzzards and a hobby along with many other birds were also visible. Lots of walks in local area and excellent birdwatching within easy reach. Good place for dark sky viewing.

Lovely views to front and rear of cottage. Enjoyed watching the deer at sunset.

Very clean , comfortable and homely . This cottage let's you relax and unwind with the stunning views .

The cottage was clean and comfortable. We liked the conservatory and the balcony and it was good to have a downstairs toilet. The views were lovely at the back of the house and we saw hares, pheasants and deer. Any issues we had during our stay were sorted out swiftly by the amazing housekeeper. The parking was ok for our small car but anything bigger might have problems. The Crown at Uploders was a great village pub, having outside seating with large covers and good for takeaways, the landlady responded to our request for vegan food and nothing was too much trouble. There wasn't any mobile phone signal which we knew about and there is a pay phone in the main bedroom. The location was perfect for Bridport and West Bay and for travelling to gardens such as Athelhampton House, Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens and Bennets Water Gardens. Littebredy Walled Gardens was on the list but it rained so much on that day we were forced to abandon our trip. All in all, a good location and the cottage was well equipped. Regarding the recycling of food waste and rubbish, we noticed that the refuse, recycling and food waste was collected very early on a Thursday morning, this wasn't mentioned in the handbook.

Lovely garden room.

A comfortable well equipped cottage with a lovely garden room and balcony with a peaceful view. The cottage does not look as fresh as portrayed in the photographs which must have been taken some time ago.

Celtic Blessing is a lovely cottage with all the comforts of home. The countryside around it is full of birdsong and gentle walks along quaint lanes and footpaths. We came home refreshed and relaxed and loved every minute of our stay.

Lovely rural cottage. Perfect for a peaceful retreat but close enough to rural pub/coastline. The perfect location to escape and recharge

Celtic Cottage is one of the cosiest cottages we have stayed in (2 adults and a child). Great location for exploring the coast from Lyme Regis to Weymouth, yet away from all the crowds. We loved spotting deer, birds and animals from the windows every day. The cottage had everything we needed and the heated airer was a bonus find in the utility room. The cottage is really spacious and comfortable and looked after by a very friendly housekeeper who left a welcome basket and fresh flowers in the rooms. A great escape from the Covid madness over October half term.

Immediately felt welcome. Idyllic peaceful setting. Perfect in every respect. Thank you.

Large, comfortable accommodation with glorious views all round the cottage. Comfy and cosy; very welcoming.

A peaceful break close to lively bustling Bridport, wonderful beaches and pretty villages close at hand.

Don’t judge this property by first impressions , if you do you’ll miss a real treat.

The cottage is very spacious and has a lovely feel to it. It's so well equipped and really feels like home! We had a great week staying there and exploring all along the coast as well as the beautiful countryside.

Celtic Blessing is a very comfortable cottage in a beautiful location. The views over the valley at the back from the garden room and balcony are peaceful and beautiful. We saw deer every day at the back and the front of the house, as well as many birds, rabbits and a fox. The cottage is very well equipped, with an excellent TV, and a very good selection of maps, guides and local information. We were welcomed with beautiful roses, biscuits and a tea tray, and very soon felt the lovely sense of peace that stayed with us for the whole holiday.

It was our third stay at the cottage so it is certainly somewhere we like!

This cottage has a wonderful calm feel to it; lovingly cared for it is more like a home than a holiday cottage, its views restful and calming, and at night such a delight to see all the stars in the sky! The pretty garden is filled with wildlife, and we saw rabbits, deer and a variety of unusual birds; such a tranquil setting. A return visit is definitely on the cards!

We so enjoyed the peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings while staying here for a week. Sitting on the veranda at the back was a joy and to eat meals outside in the lovely weather was a treat. The cottage is a nice size and very comfortable. It's a nice quiet village and it's easy to drive to lots of beaches and other villages and towns. We miss the fields and hills now that we are home.

Superb location, beautiful, clean comfortable property. If you are visiting Dorset, this is the place to stay.

We had a lovely stay over New Year in this very cosy cottage which was decorated for Christmas. It was nice to have the wood burning fire to sit around in the evenings. It was also very relaxing to sit in the garden room and watch the birds. The cottage is in a good location to visit the beach at Burton Bradstock and in easy reach of restaurants at Bridport.

A warm, comfortable cottage for an autumn visit with lots of thoughtful touches that make all the difference. We felt very welcome. Gorgeous views especially to the rear. Well-equipped kitchen, excellent shower, comfortable beds. A lovely base for a few days spent happily exploring a wonderful part of the country.

Lovely Victorian cottage very well equipped in a pretty village setting. It had all the comforts of home including binoculars to watch the wildlife!

Celtic Blessing is an ideal property and location for anyone wishing to explore the beauty of the Jurassic Coast and surrounding countryside. It is in a quiet rural location but only minutes away from the main road from where access to local attractions can soon be reached.

The cottage was extremely comfortable and one of the best I have stayed at for all the extras eg, plenty of cleaning products when needed, tissues supplied, plus flowers in several rooms, milk in the fridge etc. those little touches mean a lot and make life so much easier. The housekeeper very kindly and swiftly replaced the toaster and dealt with a hot water issue. I have no complaints and despite the poor mobile phone reception, we all managed to text, or send emails or Whatsapp messages, plus there is a pay phone which came in handy a couple of times. I would heartily recommend the cottage and would love to come again, it was a peaceful place and had a beautiful setting.

Lovely place to stay. Felt like a home from home. The owner and housekeeper had gone the extra mile to make us welcome and our stay extremely comfortable. Thank you so much.

The property could not have been better. We both said that we could live there as our main residence. The rear garden outlook was magnificent from the garden room and terrace. The rooms were spacious and the bed very comfortable. One of the best English holidays we have ever had, perfect in every way including the weather.

This is a beautiful cottage in a lovely setting.

We loved the log burner, the choice of soft furnishings and the spacious master bedroom

Comfortable cottage in lovely village. The log burner added a real feel of cosiness in the evening.

This is a nice, well equipped cottage in a very picturesque village. Only a few minutes walk from a smashing pub with great beer and good food. The views to the rear are beautiful. It's a delight to sit in the sun room and watch the sheep and deer and listen to the jackdaws croaking. It's a quiet location, yet handy for Bridport, Charmouth, Lyme Regis etc. I would recommend Celtic Blessing for anyone wanting to unwind and de-stress, do some walking, some sight seeing, some eating out or just chilling.

Ideally located in central Dorset within easy reach of many attractions. We explored the whole county from Corfe Castle over to Beer which is just in Devon. Recommended for families young and old. Nice to be i the countryside where we hear owls and saw bats.

A really lovely cottage in a very pretty village . We did not go out too far has it was just so peaceful in the cottage. Would love to go back to Celtic Blessing one day.

Cottage couldn't be any better. Lovely log fire. Beds very comfortable and views perfect.

Wonderfully equipped, welcoming and very homely cottage in peaceful location. Would highly recommend.

Lovely cottage in an amazing setting. Enjoyed seeing deer in the surrounding fields and waking up to such fantastic views. Great location for visiting many attractions in Dorset. Looking for fossils was a highlight and discovering Hardy country.

Great cottage in a very pretty location with lovely walks on doorstep. Well equipped and comfortable.

Celtic Blessing was a beautiful cottage in a lovely secluded location. Was close to great local Landmarks such as Durdle Dor and beach at Lyme Regis. Would love to return one day.

Great location in a nice village. Really nice, friendly local pub in the village. Cottage is delightful and is a good base for exploring West Dorset from. We would definitely stay at Celtic Blessing again

Celtic Cottage is a delightful place to stay. All features are excellent and the property is maintained beautifully. Our best holiday in ages!

Great location, lots to do in area. It's a lovely cottage, owner has thought of nearly everything.

A lovely well equipped cottage in a peaceful location, ideal for families or couples, at any time of the year.

We had a wonderful summer week in Celtic Blessing. Perfectly located on the edge of a very pretty village, the cottage was an excellent base for exploring Dorset countryside and beaches. The cottage was surprisingly large, with lots of rooms to relax in, including a very charming conservatory with a terrace over the garden. We would certainly stay in the cottage again.

Happy for you to publish any of my comments.

My rating on this cottage is compared against the many other properties in the UK that I have stayed in over the years.

Very good location and the owner has tried to provide all of the essential items that you would need during your stay.

Celtic Blessing is homely and comfortable - very 'familiar' to those who grew up in the '50s & '60s, but everything updated to a standard to suit the modern generation. It has a lovely atmosphere and we very much hope to visit again.

Great location for Dorset holiday, local pubs a bonus. Sweet and spacious cottage. Pretty garden and rural views from all windows.

A comfortable and well equipped cottage with a very homely feel, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here

The cottage is lovely and peaceful in idyllic surroundings. We could have spent hours in the garden room enjoying the view. The living room is much larger than it appears in the online photos.

Beautiful cottage in a very peaceful location. Within walking distance of 2 pubs which was nice for the evening.

this is a lovely cottage in a beautiful peaceful landscape - we will hopefully go back some time

If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, as well as plenty to see and do in the surrounding area, then this is the place to come.

Loved the feel of the property, with a lot of thought by the owner given to making it an attractive, and welcoming.
