Celtic Blessing is a lovely cottage with all the home comforts you could want . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and in particular sitting in the sun lounge after a day out walking in the beautiful countryside and from where we saw deer most days and various birds including ravens, finches, tits and red kite. A five minute walk to the Crown Inn and ten minutes to the Loders Arms where we enjoyed some fine ales, lovely home made food and great hospitality. In all it was the prefect week in lovely Dorset where we were lucky with the weather too. Will definitely return. ...

A pleasant cosy cottage in a quiet rural location. Nice view from the garden room where we saw several deer including two white ones. On a wet day we visited Palmers brewery in Bridport where we had an excellent tour of the wonderful thatched building showing all the brewing processes plus, of course, tastings at the end. Well worth a visit even if you’re not a beer drinker!...

We had a wonderful stay at Celtic Blessing, and cannot wait to return. The cottage is light, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped, and the terrace offers wonderful views of the river valley below and hills beyond. We had a deep sense of peace and relaxation. You are surrounded by nature - there are numerous birds, rabbits and even red deer, which came down from the hills in the morning and early evening to feed in the nearby fields. Uploders is a beautiful village with a lovely pub - The Crown. We enjoyed walking along the lane to Loders, which also has a noted local pub. You feel you are deep in the countryside, yet Bridport is only two and a half miles away, and the coast only a few minutes' drive. We have visited Dorset many times before and stayed in several different cottages in this area, but this has been our favourite. ...
