Excellent accommodation, well equipped, very comfortable and spotless!

We had a fabulous holiday at Francis' cottage! The views of the sea are amazing and it's easy to get on to the coastal path and walk down to Crackington Haven. We loved it there because it's so peaceful and beautiful and yet we could easily get to other places along the coast. We visited Tintagel, Newquay, Boscastle and Port Isaac for sight seeing and shops. Excellent wi fi, which is what we needed. The owners are very special people - they were available at all times to answer any questions and deal with any issues immediately. We all loved this place and hope to return.

Beautifully appointed cottage in a quiet pretty location. Just ideal for walking the coast paths.

Francis' cottage was excellent: clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The owners were extremely welcoming and made our stay perfect!

We had a wonderful family holiday staying at Francis'. Stunning location with gorgeous views to the sea. Easy access to the SW coastal path. The cottage was very well equipped, very clean and comfortable. The owners were incredibly helpful and happy to offer advice on things to do if needed. Good pub within a lovely twenty minute walk. Can't wait to visit again.

We had a very nice stay in the cottage Francis. It was very cozy and pretty.

Our third visit, still an unspoilt and peaceful location. The sea views just seem to get better. The owners are very helpful and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and we wished it had been longer. For the energetic a walk to the Coombe Barton and the beach at Crackington Haven is a must. We have stopped in this area many times but this location is our favourite, we are never happy to leave!

Good location to Bude and surrounding towns.Great walking trails.Situated in acres of groun so peaceful.

Beautiful cottage in the most wonderful peaceful location. The owners welcome was amazing, a cream tea was waiting for us which was so lovely and a great start to the holiday. The standard of accommodation is one of the best I have ever stayed in 5*, fresh flowers, ready made fire, BBQ with coals, everything had been considered. I have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation as the perfect choice for this area of Cornwall

Wonderful cottage, amazing views, really well furnished & decorated with all the bits & pieces (decent kitchen equipment etc.) you need to enjoy a self-catering stay. Fresh flowers & cream tea make you feel very welcome, and the owners are lovely. Can't recommend this place enough!

This was our second visit, new owners just as lovely as the last. A peaceful and quiet location with wonderful views. A third visit is on the cards as something about St Gennys / Francis draws us back.

Fantastic cottage with fantastic views and service. Wonderful cream tea waiting on arrival was an unexpected surprise. Great hosts that struck the right balance. Thankyou !

Very warm-hearted welcome by the owners of the cottage. You'll find a food-shop within 10 minutes with your car at the junction to the mainroad.

Beautiful cottages and very warm welcome from the proprietors. Cornish cream tea on arrival was very welcome after our long drive

We stayed in Francis cottage for our honeymoon and it was perfect. The owners were very welcoming and we appreciated the homemade scones and cake after our long journey. The cottage has stunning sea views and is very well equipped. We found the location very peaceful and relaxing ... Didn't want to leave!

Francis is a lovely cottage in a lovely location. The view was stunning and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a very enjoyable week at Francis - wonderful views and walks nearby Very relaxing and the cottage met all our expectations Wonderful welcome with a delicious cake and flowers. Dan the owner was most knowledgeable and helpful - thank you for a fantastic break.

If you want peaceful location in lovely cottage, this is it!!

This is a beautiful cosy cottage with a gorgeous sea view and the rugged coast path right on your doorstep. Perfect!

Francis' is a beautiful cottage in an idyllic location. Every comfort is provided and a wonderful cream tea was awaiting us when we arrived, perfect after the long drive. We were very lucky to have good weather while we were there but I can see it would be equally lovely on a cold but bright winter's day with its comfortable furnishings and open log fire. Highly recommend Francis ' for a peaceful 'away from it all' holiday. The only noise you hear when in the garden are the resident house martins twittering, no traffic noise, no planes - just complete silence, bliss.

Perfect little get away cottage. Well maintained with a fully equpit kitchen - lovely appliances. Scones on arrival was a great touch. Perfect!

Lovely cottage, although very very bijous. Beautiful area - lovely walks from the cottage to Crackington Haven and you must visit the Old Wainhouse Inn. Not the cheapest for food but the steak melted in our mouths!

The friendly welcome with fresh roses, tea, cakes and scones was great. Very friendly and attentive host. Very nice cottage with a lovely view. We felt very comfortable. Surrounded by nature and a woderful sea view. Our expectations were exceeded, we enjoyed our holidays and would definitely come back.

A wonderful snug cottage with a smashing view of the coast. Thanks to the owners for a lovely warm welcome.

Fantastic !!!

Trevor and Sam are very helpful, the Cornish tea on arrival a delight. the cottage is clean, fresh and tastefully done. The walk from the cottage around the headland despite being a bit challenging for loss less mobile is beautiful and Crackington Haven is a great spot.

We will be back.

A beautiful setting near the coast path with views of the distant sea, very near to the beautiful Crackington Haven.
Having a delicious cream sponge cake and a clotted cream tea waiting on arrival made us feel very welcome. Especially loved the twelve beautiful fresh roses in the living area which made it a home from home.

Lovely cottage in a great area. Thank you Trevor and Samantha, we will def be returning. The cream tea on arrival was delicious!!

We all loved this cottage for our December break. The lounge has a wall of windows looking straight out towards the sea and it was a real treat to have our breakfast whilst looking out on the lovely view down to the coast path. Really comfy beds with charming views out down to the sea where there was a rainbow over the sea three days running whilst we were there. The cottage felt lovely and warm which we really appreciated when coming back in after walking on the coast paths near Tintagel and Boscastle or Widemouth Bay. Lots to do nearby. We really like a decent shower and the one in this cottage is fantastic and powerful. Pretty hard to find anything to suggest to improve on this lovely and classy cottage. (The owners were on hand to help but not in any way intrusive - delightful too.

The description and pictures of Francis cottage were 'spot-on'. On arrival at the cottage there was a wonderful greeting in the form of a cream tea and a cake together with a lovely card welcoming us to the cottage. This was delightful and very welcome after a long journey. We were left to ourselves but knew there was help at hand if we needed it at any time - which is an ideal setup.

Francis is a lovely cottage and its owners are very warm and welcoming.

Looking for a quiet place to relax away from everyday hassle, but not too remote. Ideal location for several holiday towns and tourist places and for walking along the coastal paths. Stunning scenery. Very pleased with the warm welcome and general facilities offered, a must return venue.
