Mrs Lassam April 2019
Excellent cottage and location. Comfortable beds & good showers. Well equipped kitchen. We booked all 3 cottages for 6 adults and 4 children. The outside space was safe for the grandchildren to run around and the views were wonderful. Very helpful owners. We will definitely return.
Mrs Hannah August 2018
Throughly enjoyed a Cornish cream tea on our arrival, and we were made to feel very welcome. The property is beautifully clean and well appointed, with all you need for family meals in regards to kitchen wear. The walk to Crackington Haven is lovely, if a bit strenuous on the return up hill, and passing through a field of cows with their calves worried me a little. But we had a fabulous holiday and no spiders! A great base for exploring the beautiful Cornish coastline.
Mrs Beel June 2018
Great views, charming cottage very cosy.Owners are there if you need them otherwise they respect your privacy.
Mr Crighton June 2018
In a lovely location and excellently furnished.
Mr Algate June 2018
Very warm welcome from helpful and friendly owners - cream tea and other goodies on arrival much appreciated. They even arranged wall-to-wall sunshine! Very good wi-fi - not always the case when advertised in some properties we have visited. Beautifully decorated and well-equipped cottage in very pleasant grounds. Highly recommended.
Mrs Trotman May 2018
Gorgeous setting, cottage lifted out with everything we needed and beautifully done. Big garden for kids to play in and to eat out in. Daniel and Angela gave a lovely welcome and were on hand if we needed them. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Such a home from home, we completely relaxed. Stunning location with some breath-taking walks right on the doorstep. Beds were so comfortable that we slept like logs every night. The owners were so hospitable (fab cream tea) but also gave us privacy which was appreciated.
Mr Malsher June 2017
The owners of the property, Daniel and Angela were most welcoming, and provided home made cream teas and a lovely cream and strawberry sponge cake. You couldn't wish for better neighbours.
Mrs Holmes September 2016

Mrs Winterbottom September 2016
The Old School House would suite anyone who loves the peace and quiet of the countryside with an interesting old church next door and interesting gravestones. The church is also a site of interest with bats and many different kinds of insects which thrive within the area of the church yard. Many different types of fungi grow on the gravestones and this helps certain insects to thrive here. The grass is not mowed at the start of spring in order to allow early hatching insects to thrive. Public footpaths take you to the coast which are situated quite close to the cottage. Crackington Haven is close enough to walk with a really good pub grub pub (Coomb Barton Inn) with great steaks, Burgers, Fish including Lemon and Sole Stone Bass. Other good places to visit such as Padstow, Port Isaac, Bude and Tintagel are all within a reasonably short drive. These all have good pub grub pubs too.
Mrs Gagnier May 2016

The Old school house was simply wonderful. Our family arrived to a lovely cream tea and an Easter Egg left for the girls. The furnishings were obviously thought through carefully and were classy as well as comfortable. The owners were so kind and considerate and I would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family. A beautiful week in a beautiful cottage.
Mrs Evans March 2015
We had a lovely week at St Genny's the cottage was very comfortable and we loved lighting the fire every night to make us cosy. Great location for walking the coast path, we particularly enjoyed catching the bus to Boscastle and walking home on the path and seeing seals along the way made it even better!
Mr Hartigan January 2015
Wonderful cottage, cozy, comfortable, peaceful, great location, close to Bude and 1 mile away from Crackington Haven beach. Cream Tea left by owners on arrival and fire prepared just waiting to be lit. Perfect little family bolt hole - We love it.
Mr Harland November 2014
Such a welcoming and homely atmosphere. The accommodation was immaculate and standard of furnishings exceeded our expectations. The 'welcome pack' (unexpected by the way) was very generous and welcome after the drive to arrive. The location is stunning. The whole experience was restful, peaceful and all too short for us ....... at least it means we have the excuse to go back again.
Mr Rollins October 2014
The old School House is the best situated of the 3 cottages having its own private small garden with sea views. The interior is beautifully furnished with everything provided including hair drier, two spacious comfortable bedrooms, lovely large fluffy bath towels. Fully equipped kitchen, including initial supply of dishwasher tablets, dish clothes, tea towels, milk and tea bags. Gorgeous cream tea provided on arrival was much appreciated as was the fresh flowers in the kitchen and living room.. Lovely walks from the cottage through the fields to the coastal path and up to the top of the large cliff overlooking Crackingtom Haven. Very peaceful setting for a relaxing comfortable holiday.

A beautiful old cottage set in north Cornwall which was very clean and tidy. All the essentials were available. So cosy to have a log fire each evening. There were beautiful views out over the country-side & able to see the sea from the master bed-room.
The owners who live close by were lovely & we were given a very warm welcome. They are such a lovely couple which helped make our stay even more enjoyable.

It exceeded our expectations - it is an amazingly comfortable cottage in a beautiful setting. Its peace and quiet were just what we needed. The owners were incredibly hospitable. We were met on arrival by the owner who explained all the housekeeping and heating etc and they had even left us a full cream tea set out at the kitchen table. Perfect!
We use classic cottages regularly and have always had exceptional service from you.
