Mr Savage October 2023
Enjoyed another week at Little Bokelly, and managed to dodge most of the showers!
Disappointingly, the track down from the road has deteriorated further, with very large potholes - to the extent that great care is needed to avoid damage to the underside of one's car.
We were visited by a small herd of cattle immediately outside the cottage at 3am on one day. The noise disturbed our sleep - although luckily we had closed the gate so they did not reach the garden.
Mrs Cruttenden September 2023
Would recommend little bokelly if you want a peaceful holiday.plenty of places to visit and good restaurants.the lovely people at classic cottages make it so easy to book.will definitely go back.
Mr Biggs September 2023
A beautiful cottage in an amazing peaceful rural setting. All home comforts supplied and the welcome items were a nice touch.
Ms Cave July 2023
Little Bokelly is a charming, cosy and comfortable cottage in a beautiful rural location - a perfect place if you're in need of peace and quiet. The interior is stylish, with luxurious furnishings, and the garden is delightful. Take great care when navigating the rough and narrow track, though!
Mrs Bradley July 2023
Charming country cottage . Clean and comfortable. Quiet and peaceful with an enclosed country garden looking out onto fields .
Mrs Cruttenden May 2023
Lovely cottage great location lovely beaches and lots of great places for meals out and the friendly people at classic cottages really made our holiday.
Mrs Baker September 2022
We stayed at little Bokelly for the last week in September 2022. The cottage is an ideal layout for two couples. The bedrooms are separated by the living accommodation. The main bathroom is close to the bedroom without an ensuite so we had a bathroom each. The evenings were starting to get cooler so the wood burner in the living area was very welcome. It made the cottage very cosy and we didn’t require additional heating. We sought a quiet setting and this cottage was ideal. No noise no streetlights yet only 4.1 miles from Wadebridge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would recommend Little Bokelly and would definitely return.
Mrs Cruttenden September 2022
Little bokelly is a lovely cottage, it's so cosy and near some lovely beaches. And the people at classic cottages are so friendly and make it so easy to book.
Mrs Hardy July 2022
Location lovely although remote.
Cottage well furnished.
Cottage was in need of a good clean throughout and the bathrooms need replacing if not a deep clean.
Very dusty with covwebs and spiders. Needed to clean it before we felt comfortable.
Some nice places to visit, Port Isaac is very pretty and enjoyed Padstow.
Tintagel Castle is worth a visit, need to be pretty fit though.
Just the cleanliness let it down for us.

Thanks so much for taking the time to let us have your thoughts and we're so sorry that there were some elements of housekeeping that you felt needed a little more attention. We would've loved to have been given the opportunity to look into this during your stay but we're greatful that you took the time to let us know following your departure. The feedback was quite of character for this property and we of course shared your observations with the housekeeper when we received them. We're so pleased that you enjoyed exploring the local area and we'd love to welcome you back in the future. Tressa, Customer Support
Mrs Pettinger June 2022
A very well laid out, spacious property (when occupied by 2 people) with comfy bed and sofas - nothing left to chance. We knew we would be very happy pottering about all day in the barn if the weather was inclement. A really special place.
Mr Savage May 2022
Another very enjoyable and peaceful holiday at Little Bokelly (despite changeable weather!) St Kew Farm Shop recommended for provisions and refreshments, and The Atlantic at New Polzeath for excellent large pizza. (Rather expensive, but a superb location). Camel Trail tranquil (off-peak season!)
Mr Wright December 2021

Second stay at this cottage. It is in a beautiful, quiet location yet close to the coast and local attractions like Port Isaac, the Camel Trail and the South West Coast Path. There's a lot to do for active people like cycling, hiking, swimming, all nearby. The local roads are quiet and pleasurable to cycle on.
Mrs Brown June 2021
Little Bokelly is a delightful cottage in a peaceful setting fairly close to the coast, we felt that the garden furniture could do with updating but otherwise it is a very comfortable base for a holiday. We may well visit again.
Mrs Mead June 2021
A delightful cottage in a really peaceful and quiet location in the grounds of the owner's lovely manor house. It was well equipped, spacious, light and airy with a pretty garden (where we enjoyed daily visits by the resident pheasants!).
Despite its quiet and rural location it was very accessible to various locations along the north Cornish coast.
Mr Howatson April 2021
The cottage was very comfortable and quiet in its countryside setting, it suited us perfectly.

Mrs Wilson October 2020
Lovely, cosy cottage which is close to Rock, Polzeath and Port Isaac. You do need a car to go anywhere though. The log burner is a great addition and it’s a very peaceful spot. The cottage has everything you need.
Mrs Cruttenden September 2020
Very private and very peaceful.
Mr Savage September 2020
We had another very pleasant and comfortable week at Little Bokelly. There were 2 relatively minor issues:-
The approach drive has deteriorated further since our previous visits. The potholes are quite severe, and the underside of our car was sometimes brushing against the high central part of the drive.
The bolts on the patio door are very stiff and out of alignment - to the point of being unusable in the case of the lower one. This gave us some concerns about security. It was disappointing to see that this problem had not been fixed, since we reported it on our previous visit.
Having said this, we still love Little Bokelly, and plan to return.
Mrs Barnish August 2020
A beautifully decorated cottage, spacious and very comfortable in a quiet location, convenient for exploring north Cornwall. The welcome gift from the owners was a lovely surprise. Also milk, coffee and tea in the kitchen was very much appreciated after our long journey. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay at Little Bokelly and would be happy to recommended it to others.
Mrs Bowman January 2020
Warm in winter, well equipped, homely, quiet cottage with convenient access to places of interest via the A39. Good base for touring North Cornwall.

Mrs Radford September 2019
We have just spent a week at Little Bokelly and it was absolutely lovely. We would definitely recommend this peaceful, clean and comfortable cottage. It was an absolute joy to return each day and enjoy the patio with a glass of wine while all we could hear was birdsong and all we could see was countryside. Bliss. We will definitely return. Mrs Williams August 2019
A beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting and in such a great location.
Mr Pickett June 2019
Very enjoyable stay in this peaceful and very well presented property. The location is good because it is rural but near to main road. Very close to a number of beautiful beaches, walks etc. One week was not long enough to fully explore. Excellent check in and booking process. Would definitely like to return
Mrs Williams August 2018
A lovely, cosy cottage, in a great location. The welcome gift from the owners was much appreciated after the journey to get there.
Mrs Lloyd July 2018
This is a beautifully appointed cottage in a peaceful and private location near to some of the best coastline Cornwall has to offer. With the Camel trail, coastal paths and stunning beaches nearby, we were never short of something to do without needing to travel far. The cottage is a very comfortable conversion, spotlessly clean and a delightful place to relax and spend time in. We enjoyed two exceptionally good meals out, the first at the St Kew Inn and the second at St Tudy Inn; both come highly recommended. We enjoyed a fantastic holiday at Little Bokelly.
Mrs Alden June 2018

A comfortable and well-equipped cottage in a good location. However was not as peaceful as expected owing to noisy landscaping work in the owners adjacent garden.

Little Bokelly provides a perfect home for either a couple or a small family looking for a quiet restful holiday in North Cornwall. Children are almost spoilt by the selection of books videos and bath time toys available. Nearby these are several excellent eateries including the Red Lion at Key Highway which is always excellent. For the rest of the day there are lovely beeches and interesting walks to explore.

It was fab to return to the cottage log burner after our days out - toasted marshamallows = yummy! - perfect on chilly autumn evenings.
Mrs Szczebiot September 2015
This is a unique cottage which we would very much like to experience again in the future. One of it's main selling points is the outlook over the surrounding fields and consequent tranquillity.
Mrs McKie August 2015
Beautifully presented, well equipped, welcoming and friendly. The 2nd bedroom was set up thoughtfully with lots of books and puzzles suitable for my 5 year old son, and a gift too. Delicious homemade cake, eggs, milk, fresh herbs and fresh flowers greeted us on arrival. Altogether a perfect base to explore the area.
Mrs Derry July 2015
Little Bokelly is a comfortable, clean and well-equipped cottage. There are views of open countryside from the patio, garden and most of the windows. There is a lovely private garden to sit in and, although in a peaceful location, it is not too far from the main road which gives easy access to all areas of Cornwall.
Miss Webb March 2015

Mr Clark August 2014
Little Bokelly is a lovely, well equipped cottage which is furnished to a very high standard and everything was fresh and clean. The private parking, garden and patio is a rare find in holiday cottages and a real bonus. Privacy and peace and quiet ensured. We had high expectations and found exactly what we were hoping to find. We hope to return as soon as possible.

I think this is one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in. Everything was perfect; very well equipped, lovely decor, pretty furnishings and everything worked! We were welcomed with fresh eggs, flowers and a cake. What more could we have asked for?
Mrs Martin April 2014
A lovely cottage that exceeded our expectations! The welcoming chocolate cake was delicious and a perfect start to a great week. The cottage was well equipped and suited the three of us perfectly.
The cottage is located far enough away from the crowds of tourists but close enough to be able to get out and see a great deal of the coast without too much driving effort.
We have already recommended the cottage to several people!
Dr Pollock March 2014
Really attractive cottage, beautifully appointed in a peaceful location near lots of spectacular scenery. Ideal for two couples or small family.
Mrs Turner May 2013
Beautiful cottage inside and out.
Mr Doward March 2013
A beautiful farm cottage, with modern touches. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will be back, many times. With being around a farm area, the chickens, horses and a few playful dogs were a pleasant distraction on our holiday.
