Dairyman cottage was a lovely clean, well equipped cosy retreat for our short stay in shaftesbury. It was ideally situated and we were made to feel very welcome by the owners. We particularly enjoyed the welcome tray of tea and yummy brownies, thank you Clive and wendy

The most comfortable, homely and welcoming holiday property that we have ever stayed at.

The care and attention taken by the owners was quite exemplary

August 2016

The cottage was lovely, the location was great and the owners were very nice even when our 2 year old had an accident while in bed. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking to get away from it all and be in the middle of the fields with chickens outside your door waiting for crumbs in the morning. We all had a fantastic holiday

A lovely short stay at the Dairyman's Cottage- a fresh baked cake welcomed us to a cosy cottage, as well as a field of sheep and Guinea fowl and hens running around much to the delight of our toddler. A very comfortable stay with easy access to a number of sights, close to the lovely little Shaftesbury and a further drive to Corfe, Swanage and Salisbury. A perfect holiday for a little family and great value for money- would highly recommend and no doubt will go back again.

A superb base from which to explore this delightful part of the country.

July 2015

An ideal place to stay if you want to explore Dorset, Wiltshire, Bath and Somerset. The cottage has a spacious open-plan ground floor and two good size rooms upstairs. As a family of 2 adults and 3 children we really enjoyed staying at the cottage and although we didn't meet the owners the cake and tea they provided was most welcome!

A beautiful bolt-hole in a fantastic part of the country ideally located for several historic towns and even close enough for a day trip to the coast. We thoroughly enjoyed the restful surroundings and the open fire. The owners were attentive without being intrusive and we really can't wait to go back to Dairyman's Cottage and the ducks ha ha!!
