The cottage was wonderful. It’s in a great location for local attractions. Short walking distance to a general store. Perfect for families and family gatherings. Feeding the chickens was a big hit with our toddler!

A homely, comfortable cottage in a quiet rural location in a very pretty area, with a very pleasant owner.

We had very nice and relaxing days in nowhere :). Received with a tea set, very friendly. A disturbance of the W-Lan reception was fixed at very short notice. We would choose this accomodation again.

Thank you.

Outstanding from Start to end. Everything 5 Star. Could not ask for more.

It would be good to have had some quality things in the Cottage and more clear windows downstairs as 2 of them were frosted

Thanks for sharing your thoughts - the lower windows have had a different finish applied to allow in plenty of light but also to ensure privacy for guests and for the owners who live on site. There are standard clear pane windows everywhere else in the barn, but we think the owners have found a really good solution to keep the property light and bright, whilst helping guests feel very comfortable and private. The care and attention taken by the owners was quite exemplary

The cottage was lovely, the location was great and the owners were very nice even when our 2 year old had an accident while in bed. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking to get away from it all and be in the middle of the fields with chickens outside your door waiting for crumbs in the morning. We all had a fantastic holiday

A lovely short stay at the Dairyman's Cottage- a fresh baked cake welcomed us to a cosy cottage, as well as a field of sheep and Guinea fowl and hens running around much to the delight of our toddler. A very comfortable stay with easy access to a number of sights, close to the lovely little Shaftesbury and a further drive to Corfe, Swanage and Salisbury. A perfect holiday for a little family and great value for money- would highly recommend and no doubt will go back again.

An ideal place to stay if you want to explore Dorset, Wiltshire, Bath and Somerset. The cottage has a spacious open-plan ground floor and two good size rooms upstairs. As a family of 2 adults and 3 children we really enjoyed staying at the cottage and although we didn't meet the owners the cake and tea they provided was most welcome!
