This was a quite lovely 'upside down' property, in a very peaceful area. It was really well equipped, and the cream tea welcome was fabulous. The kitchen/living area was gorgeous, with light coming in through several windows. Everything was to a very high spec (I'm jealous of the lovely black marble worktop in the kitchen), and I love the fact that that this lovely high spec'd property was happy to have little furry friends as well (dogs), which often isn't the case. The husband and myself (and Meggie the dog), had a lovely, restful and peaceful 9 nights here.

This is a fantastic cottage and brilliantly located in a peaceful setting that’s ideal for Sennen, Penzance and St Just. Lots of living room makes it ideal for a family or small group.

Roskennels Granary is a wonderful property set in idyllic grounds and surrounded by beautiful countryside views. I particularly like the spacious living area which is furnished simply but stylishly. The kitchen is well equipped and I found It had everything I needed. It was a treat to find good quality appliances which you don’t always get in a holiday property. The owner Matt is friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The location makes it a great base for touring this lovely area of Cornwall with the outstanding surfing beach at Sennen, the Minack Theatre, St Michaels Mount, Moushole, Newlyn and many other places in easy reach. It’s also a beautiful place to enjoy in its own right. You can stroll around the grounds with its pretty lake and there are plenty of seating areas to relax with a drink and watch the local wildlife. I am already planning my next visit and would recommend Roskennels to anyone.
