Hope your welcome is better than ours (locked out with no sign of 'welcome' flowers/cake) Cottage has good parking, good walkable pub near by, and is in a good location close to good links to Devon South Hams. Cottage has plenty of space for 5 with good Wifi. Ground floor does need some heating in cooler months, but bedrooms are fine.

We're so sorry that the key collection was not straight forward for you on arrival. It was good to hear that you liked the location and that you found the property to be spacious. Your comments about the ground floor heating have been passed on for the owners attention. Alison, Customer Support

This cottage is located in a quiet and peaceful location, but within walking distance of local shops and an excellent pub/restaurant.

there were five of us, and we had the en suite room, which was great. However the other three who had to share a bathroom, which was no problem, were very disappointed there was no shower, and only a bath! The property would benefit from a downstairs toilet too, for the less agile, who need to visit more regularly! There was no Grill pan in the kitchen either, whether it was just missing on our visit, but we did need one. We hope this constructive criticism is useful. We would book again.....as long as WE had the en suite! Thank you for the lovely home you provided. Roger and Marie DuCroq-Slip Oh....and the pub was lush too!

Excellent cottage in wonderful location. We spent a lot of time on and around the river dart and would definitely recommend the round robin which included bus, steam train and river trip all in one day out.

The Cottage is situated in a prime location for visiting the area. Easy travel distance from Torquay down to Salcombe. We even managed a day trip to Looe and Polperro. Something for everyone, peace and quiet and only a ten minute drive to a harbour front.

August 2013

The property has all we could wish for in facilities and furnishings. We felt at home and relaxed the day we arrived. We enjoyed the local beaches and towns, it was nice to be only a few miles from Torquay, Brixham, Dartmouth etc etc. If you want sandy beaches we headed for Exmouth. We did have some wifi coverage in the cottage, but this seemed hit and miss, sometimes working, others connected but very slow to the point we gave up. Not a bad thing some might say? All in all we had a wonderful relaxing holiday in a nice cottage with all the facilities a family needs. We did leave a windbreak so others could use it for the future.
