This is a lovely cottage with surprisingly good sea views although they are limited from the decking/terrace particularly if a car is parked in front.

The kitchen is excellent considering its size and well equipped. The wood burner is super and heats the property through very quickly.

The downside is there is a bit of a damp/condensation problem (quite usual in a stone building of this type) however this means keeping the windows open and utilising the de humidifier kindly provided.

There are some decent pubs in the vicinity but unfortunately not walkable in the dark.

Would book this cottage again.

It's lovely to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Atlantic Jig and would return. You are absolutely correct about condensation in this sort of converted stone property, and as you found, keeping a good airflow is really important. Since your stay, the owners have installed some additional trickle vents into the windows to help with the ventilation and we're sure that this will have a very positive effect. We hope to be able to welcome you back to the cottage again soon. Tanya, Customer Support

This is the 3rd time we've stayed at Atlantic Jig and it really is the perfect setting. We love it.

April 2017

Good location for walking and views of the North Coast.

February 2017

Our seventh stay at Atlantic Jig in February. Another perfect holiday in a perfect cottage. Hoping to be back next year!

September 2016

Cosy little cottage in a superb location with a sea view, we loved it.

September 2016

We stayed at Atlantic Jig with our 2 year old, 3 month old, and our dog in early September. It was a fantastic week. Despite changeable weather we were able to fully enjoy that beautiful stretch of coast, walk parts of the South West coastal path, enjoy beaches, St Ives, Sennen, St Just and Zennor. The house is very comfortable, well-laid out and attractive inside, and was just right for our small family.

August 2016

This cottage is perfect. Suits all our needs. Stunning views. Love it, love it, love it. We will be back.

June 2016

The cottage is in a nice area near the Coast Path. The sea view from the bed room window is fantastic. The neighbours in the little hamlet are really nice and very friendly. We stayed there for 3 weeks. But it was never boring as we loved the combination of the wonderful countryside, friendly (especially dog friendly) people and the outdoor lifestyle. The cottage is bright and comfortable with a cosy atmosphere that makes you feel at home.

June 2016

A nice little cottage with all comfort to make your stay enjoyable, we had a very good time there. Also the location between St. Just and St. Ives was great, you can visit so many nice and interesting spots. We would come again...

May 2016

We had a most enjoyable stay. The Atlantic-Jig is excellent in its simplicity. While it is located in a delightful small hamlet, it is ideally located for those wishing to walk and experinece the SW Coast path, while being within easy reach of both St Just and St Ives.

March 2016

A perfect place to escape and unwind. Atlantic Jig was amazing and provided a great base for exploring the surrounding area.

February 2016

This is our sixth year staying at Atlantic Jig in February and yet again we have had a truly lovely, relaxing break in the most perfect location and comfortable, cosy cottage. All being well we'll be back for a seventh visit!

February 2015

This is our fith year of staying at Atlantic Jig in February. It's the perfect 'getaway ' cottage were we know that it will guarantee us a relaxing week. There are also plenty of places to explore nearby. We will hopefully be returning next year!

September 2014

The cottage overlooked a beautiful view and was well spaced out. Good location between St Ives and Penzance. The owners were very lovely by checking in on us but also left us to our holiday.

July 2014

We spent a wonderful week at Atlantic Jig. The owner went out of his way to give us access to the cottage when we arrived at a very unearthly hour, thank you again! The description of the cottage is very accurate; what we really enjoyed was the large sofa on which everybody found a cosy space and the sunset that can be viewed from the master bedroom window!

March 2014

A lovely cottage that has a modern interior complimented by original artwork. It was lovely to stay somewhere modern while still maintaining the barn exterior. Great location for discovering the Penwith peninsula.

September 2013

On the positive side, the view from the master bedroom window was to die for, the welcome package was very generous compared to the normal package, which on the whole is none existent!! Apart from the road noise it was in a good area for walks and visits to the lovely sights!

July 2013

We were looking for a dog friendly base for a week in the St Just area that was a little " away from it all". This property fitted the bill, but at the same time it was accessible to the essentials: walks, beaches, pubs etc. It is a well equipped, comfortable and stylish home-from-home that provided a great base for a very happy family week in west Cornwall. We can't wait to go back...

July 2013

A lovely light filled cosy house with a view of the Atlantic Ocean.
