October 2017

Received a warm welcome on arrival and was shown around the accommodation. This was our second stay at a Roskennals property and the Mill lived up to our previous experience. The Mill is well-equipped, cosy and warm all of which contribute to the very homely feel. The Mill is spacious and allows guests to have their own space whilst also providing some great communal areas to spend time together as well. The location is peaceful and relaxing set in extensive grounds with a stream and a small lake. Penzance with shops, restaurants and other amenities is a short drive away.

Beautifully furnished and comfy home full of character and charm, in a really peaceful and pretty setting ideal for exploring the far southwest of Cornwall. It was perfect for us (5 adults and a dog). Thank you.

August 2017

The Mill is very comfortable and well appointed, a lovely old building in beautiful grounds with so much space. Matt was friendly, helpful and accommodating and the whole family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - would love to return.

June 2017

A well equipped and comfortable cottage in a peaceful and secluded location yet with good access to the coast, Penzance and surrounding villages with a good selection of bars, cafés and restaurants

October 2016

Roskennals Mill was a wonderful place to stay. The cottage was well equipped and it is set in beautiful grounds. We hope to return in the not too distant future.

September 2016

The Cottage and it's setting is absolutely stunning, and the comfort and quality of everything is top drawer. Just wonderful!

September 2014

A warm welcome from Verity and Matt, the cream tea, wine and veg box were much appreciated and enjoyed by all. As before an excellent holiday, looking forward to our next stay.

August 2014

Very pretty, Verity and Matt were lovely and very welcoming. The wine, scones and cream and veg was a lovely touch.

July 2014

Lovely peaceful location, comfortable house, friendly thoughtful owners.

December 2013

If you are prepared to watch children carefully, this is a wonderful setting- full of interesting wildlife and space to run. The owner using machinery to continue the restoration of the site is a of great fascination for small boys especially (diggers and tractors). The whole family was interested listening to him talk of his work. The mill is warm and comfortable with ample space for all its guests.

July 2013

Very cosy and comfortable dog friendly property. We wouldn't hesitate to return!

June 2013

The cottage is as described, was well equipped, and we were given a warm welcome by the owners. It is in a beautiful location with plenty of outside space for children to explore. The location is perfect for visiting some of Cornwall's best and most beautiful beaches and, if you want to leave the car behind for a day, is on a bus route. Usually we never return to the same cottage twice, prefering to explore new areas, but Roskennals Mill will prove the exception to our rule and we shall return!

June 2013

Excellent relaxing location which was close by to Lands End, Mousehole and St Ives. Matthew the owner was friendly and helpful, especially when recommending and booking a meal for us in Mousehole.
