The hosts at Swallow's nest were very welcoming and we enjoyed our stay there. They had fitted a stair gate on account of our little one which was a great help and really appreciated. There were nice touches to include local guide books in the cottage along with a good supply of tea bags (and biscuits). The location of the cottage was excellent as only 10 minutes to Truro and short drive to other points of interest. The kitchen is well equipped and the washing machine in the cottage was also an added bonus. It is probably worth noting that the bed was very firm as were the pillows.

We were very pleased to have found this cottage in a peaceful countryside location yet within easy access of Truro and the rest of Cornwall. The lane outside is perfect for a leisurely stroll (we saw only one car all week). We will certainly consider returning.
