Very tranquil with wonderful views out to sea. The mature gardens were a nature lovers paradise. We sat and watched swifts, house-martins and swallows swooping over the garden during early evening followed by bats at dusk. Considering dogs are allowed the cottage was immaculate. Perfectly situated with the picture postcard town of Looe only a short drive away and peaceful Talland Bay a quick walk down the hill. The cottage feels very private and secluded and it’s almost impossible not to relax in this beautiful setting. ...

If you're looking for peace and quiet then Maryland is the place to stay. Listen to the birds, watch the yachts and ships go by and relax. We had a truly wonderful stay at Maryland and wished we had booked another week! It is a great area for walking and there are so many interesting places to visit. We hope to return again. ...
