Enjoyable stay at Chapel. Great location and facilities. No blinds/ blackout curtains in bedrooms. Bus stop directly outside bedroom - woken several times people chatting. Double bed to small and soft. Felt on tender hooks after welcome talk by owners. Owners office under Chapel and walking to and from in the garden from neighbouring property.

The Old Chapel felt like home. It was fully equipped and had everthing that we needed for a 3 week stay, including a filled bookcase. Being centrally located in the heart of town, we were able to experience life in the village. We hope to return to Mullion and the Old Chapel soon.

How lovely you felt so at home and in the heart of the village. We are looking forward to welcoming you back very soon. Sarah R, Customer Support

Great space for four adults. Well appointed and in a very good location.

The Old Chapel is a little gem of a find. Spotlessly clean, set in a little village, close to shops, pubs, the sea and even a Chocolate factory We had access to a summerhouse, beautiful garden, a copse within the grounds and even a bbq Who could ask for more!

Owners live next door and were very friendly and helpful. Comfortable and well equipped accommodation. Excellent location with lovely walks straight from the front door and lots to explore nearby by car. Good public transport available. We really enjoyed our stay.

We (two adults and two children aged 12 and 14) had a wonderful stay at the Old Chapel in May 2022. The owners, Davina and Harry, were very welcoming and have put a lot of thought into how to make the Old Chapel a comfortable space in which to spend a week recharging your batteries. Both bedrooms have an en suite bathroom, which is great if you have a couple of older kids, and the large, airy open space that contains the kitchen, dining area and lounge is quite unique and a lovely place to relax after a day of being out and about. The outside space, including the begonia-filled summer house, was beautiful and we spent a couple of evenings sitting out there with a glass of wine watching bats flitting round the garden as the sun went down. The location is perfect - some lovely beaches within reasonable walking distance and with various small shops very nearby we didn't need to get in the car very much at all. This was our 5th holiday in Cornwall and the Old Chapel is the best place we've every stayed - would 100% recommend!

The Old Chapel is a charming, interesting, very comfortable, very well equipped property set in the middle of Mullion. It is owned by a delightful, helpful couple who made every effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable and we had everything we could possibly need or want. It was chilly evenings in March and we loved having the log burner lit, listening to jazz, on the very high quality music centre. A couple of afternoons it was warm enough to sit in the huge garden and the owners plans for creating a haven to sit quietly in the sun in the old greenhouse away from any breezes and have a cup of tea is a lovely idea. The Old Chapel has a wonderful atmosphere for a relaxing holiday. It accommodates two couples easily and the en-suite bathrooms for both bedrooms are a real bonus as is gated parking for two cars. A warm welcome awaits in St Mellanus church which is ancient and lovely and worth popping into to just to appreciate its architecture. The beautiful and dramatic coastline of the a lizard peninsula is very near. The Old Chapel is a real find!

Very pleasant, great location, an overall lovely place to stay

The Chapel has quite a history. Tony, the current owner, showed us underneath. Having also been a Magistrate’s Court, Its quite a big area with one particular area separate which apparently, the magistrate would drive his pony and trap into.

Apartment was charming, clean and comfortable and the garden was lovely and big and had lovely scenic views. location was perfect for visiting nearby places such as St Ives, penzance, mousehole, and the lizard. pollurian and mullion cove is definitely worth a visit and only a short walking distance from mullion village.

The very special hot chocolate from the Poldhu beach cafe is legendary in the local area, did you succumb to a little treat we wonder? (If not, we highly recommend it for your next trip to Mullion!). Tanya, Customer Support

Beautiful apartment, well equipped to a very high standard. Plenty of room to relax when weather not so good! Excellent base for exploring the Lizard and surrounding areas. Good local restaurants would recommend The Mounts Bay Restaurant.

We’ve stayed at The Old Chapel three years running and also have a booking for next year. The accommodation is immaculate and well equipped. There’s a barbecue, a lovely garden plus a small wooded area where children can play. The Old Chapel is in a village with shops, pubs and churches Very easy access to The Lizard, St Michael’s Mount, Penzance, The Minnack Theatre, St Ives and many others Looking forward to our next visit

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Property is lovely, well equipped and hosts have thought of everything. Great location close to local amenities.

This is clearly a well loved property and garden. We had our reservations regarding the COVID-19 situation and cleanliness of the property but these were soon quashed when we arrived and could see the extra elements put in to what was already a spotless property. We also appreciated the small, welcoming touches which we weren’t expecting. We would definitely recommend this property!

Fabulous accommodation, very comfortable and stunning converted chapel. Really nice welcome pack including bottle of wine, milk, coffee and tea. Thanks to Classic Cottages for sorting at such short notice.

The Old Chapel at Mullion is in a great location and the property has plenty of space inside and out. Great for a couple or family.

Our second visit to The Old Chapel and just as delightful as the first Set in the heart of the village of Mullion, so local shops available within a stone’s throw! However, traffic can be busy and noisy both ends of the day Ideally situated for exploring so many places, St Ives, St Michael’s Mount, Kynance, Truro, St Agnes, The Lizard, to name but a few. Looking forward to another visit next year!

Thanks so much for sharing your review - we're delighted that you enjoyed your return visit. As you know The Old Chapel is centrally located in the heart of Mullion village, but as the road runs down to beautiful Mullion Cove there may be a few more cars travelling through during holiday periods, and of course local residents heading off to work and coming home. It is a small village though and normally it's pretty quiet. We look forward to seeing you again next year! Kari, Customer Support

This very comfortable accommodation was finished to a high standard. It was light and airy with plenty of space. We were made to feel welcome by Tony the owner, on our arrival. We particularly enjoyed the central location, the private parking and the proximity of the local shops and pubs in this friendly community. This all contributed to an excellent week's holiday. We look forward to returning next year.

Beautifully spacious but cosy and comfortable too. A great place to stay.

Beautiful converted chapel with everything you need for a perfect holiday. The owner was charming and was a phone call away if you needed anything but did not intrude on your privacy.

Spacious and beautiful apartment with good choice of beauty spots to visit.

happy for any of my comments to be used

Great location for walks, riding and learning to surf at Poldhu cove.

We were accompanied by Swedish friends who particularly wanted to see Land’s End. They and we were so charmed by the Old Chapel and the places in Cornwall we visited, that we intend to return. One week was not enough.

Fabulous chapel conversion in a great location....

We have had many great holidays with Classic Cottages and the Old Chapel is our favourite.

Exceptional well-equipped spacious accommodation offering very good facilities for two couples or a family.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Old Chapel Mullion. The accommodation is well-equipped and of a high standard. We would recommend it to friends and family.

Really lovely accommodation - historic but updated. Easy to find, very nicely done inside, with wrought iron details all handmade, and with a nod to the history of the place. Good space for family. Within easy walking distance to shops, pubs, beach, etc.

Excellent accommodation in a fantastic location.

Very comfortable accommodation in central village location with everything that we needed for a week of walking and sight-seeing.

A really lovely converted chapel, in the heart of a thriving village, and close to wonderful National Trust properties and beaches. We really enjoyed every aspect of the spacious and comfortable accommodation, and will definitely come back again. First class!

As it is our second stay in this property this year I think that says it all

Highly recommended - very comfortable holiday home in a great location.

Spacious and welcoming place located on 1st floor of the building. Owner lives next door and is very helpful. Great location for a family holiday with so many places and beaches to visit. Fabulous walks and great selection of places to eat.

The accommodation and location was excellent, we really enjoyed our holiday. The ease of booking was a bonus and would certainly use Classic Cottages again. Thank you.

Lovely open plan former chapel - a stylish, unique property with fabulous garden. Excellent library of books. Charming and helpful owner, Tony, came to say hello and check all ok on the first morning. Also liked the large hall downstairs for all coats, boots, wetsuits etc, which made it easy to keep the apartment itself uncluttered.

Accommodation was excellent, a very impressive conversion of a 19th C chapel with access to a large garden as well as an outdoor dining patio and all village facilities within easy walking distance.

The old chapel is a lovely comfortable property, ideally situated with excellent parking and great local amenities.

The Old Chapel is a period conversion but keeps all the ambience of the building with the mod-cons to make a holiday with children easy. Superb!

Wonderful stay in the Old Chapel! Everything we required was supplied and the location was very convenient for exploring south Cornwall.

The Old Chapel is a very welcoming cottage. We immedietely felt 'at home'. Despite it being in the centre of the village it was still very quiet and very useful to have shops within walking distance. The locals are very friendly.

Can highly recommend The Old Chapel. A lovely property in the charming village of Mullion situated on the Lizzard which has a lot to offer. Lots of beautiful scenery and sea shores to explore on foot or by car. The 3 local eateries (2 pubs and 1 restaurant) all served good food and not to be forgotten Anne's famous Pasties in Lizzard village.
