February 2018

We had a really enjoyable stay at Wotton Stable. We were greeted with a blazing log fire and cream scones. The cottage was immaculate, with everything you need. The location was great for exploring the local beaches and sites and the Kids loved the swimming pool. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for peace and quite with great views over the valley.

December 2017

This is a perfect place for a family escape any time of year, and exceeded our expectations in every way. From the stair gate to the fire guard to the high chair, all the little details made traveling with our toddler so easy. It was a real treat for the kids to have a full sized pool essentially all to themselves. And the property is perfectly situated with beautiful views that feel miles from the world... yet Waitrose is 15 minutes away.

I would recommend Wotton Stable to anyone who appreciates beautiful and stunning countryside scenery! The farmhouse has everything you require for a comfortable stay. The bedrooms are a good size with comfortable beds and bedding...lovely en-suites too. The pool is huge and again the views are amazing. There are many places to visit if you don't mind driving as the farmhouse is just a few miles inland. We visited Polperro, Looe, Kingsand, Whitsand, Cotehele and Mevagissy but could have done with another week to see more places not too far away from the farmhouse! It was a gorgeous holiday! Many thanks.

A lovely kid friendly clean cottage with great swimming pool shared by just two cottages. All rooms had en-suite bathrooms and enclosed garden perfect for BBQ and kids to run around. Cream tea most appreciated was awaiting our arrival. 10 out of 10!

June 2016

Everything was beautifully clean and the welcome Cornish cream tea was a lovely touch. Given the location, the large heated swimming pool was indispensable. A beautifully maintained and well presented property.

This cottage is very well equipped for the larger family, it has all the comfort of a home from home, and the bonus of having the owner living next door is really good, if any problems do arise.

May 2016

October 2014

Wotton Stable is an absolutely fantastic holiday property. Six adults stayed (3x couples from same family) (in three cars) and we all had an excellent time. The converted barn is equipped with everything you could need for a weeks holiday and like previous occupants, we left some dry consumables ready for the next tenant. All three double/en suite rooms were well kitted out as were the communal rooms upstairs. Unfortunately the inclement weather meant that we could not enjoy the garden/BBQ but the pool was used every day by most of us. Handy for Plymouth, Bodmin, St Austell, Mevagissey, Polperro, etc... it was centric for everything we wanted. I don't want to recommend this as it may become too popular and may not be available should we wish to book it up in the future but... I do have to say that anyone who books here will not be disappointed. From the welcome 'Cornish Tea' on arrival to the day we left, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here. 100%fully recommended.

The Service from Classic Cottages was great, and very personal. The Cottage was imaculate on arrival and the extra touches so unexpected, scones and jam etc and the milk in the fridge, after an 8 hour drive they were very well received. The whole holiday experience was great the swimming pool for four crazy excitable children was just what we needed.

You did have exceptionally lovely weather during your stay, and the overnight temperatures barely fell from the daytime ones, undoubtedly making for some very warm and humid nights. We've checked with the Owners and there are some sheets and blankets available if guests find the duvets too warm. We hope you had a great stay at Wotton Stable and had the chance to make the most of the sunshine! Tanya, Customer Support
