Oak Tree House is a particularly special property for gathering friends and family (plus the four-legged variety) together. Set in stunning grounds in the little village of Frampton it offers extremely high levels of luxury and comfort combined with the feel of a real home-from-home. Its four bedrooms and three bathrooms are all beautifully appointed and the kitchen and living spaces are spectacular. There are two outdoor terraces, a games-room and a wonderful owner who really thinks of everything. If you are lucky enough to stay here it will be a holiday to remember.

Set within the grounds of the owners' property, Oak Tree House is set back off a quiet private road and on entering the grand hallway you get an instant feel for the quality of this home. Ahead of you is the vast kitchen and snug area and to your left you will find the formal dining -room and main sitting-room.

The grand kitchen is a fabulous social space with all the appliances you would expect to find, including a Rangemaster gas hob with an electric oven, huge American-style fridge/freezer, and a social breakfast-bar/island. At one end of the kitchen, you will find a separate "snug" space with sofas and doors out to one of the terraces. Off the kitchen you will also find a large boot-room/laundry.

The formal dining-room is spectacular, packed with style and character as well as a table ready for eight. There are double doors out to the main terrace making it the most wonderful indoor and outdoor dining set-up. Many happy memories and delicious meals to be enjoyed here.

Through the dining-room is the sumptuous sitting-room with lots of comfortable seating, a cosy wood-burning stove and doors out onto the terrace. This room is simply perfect for gathering everyone together and mingling between the indoor and outdoor spaces.

Upstairs are four large bedrooms and three beautiful bathrooms. All the bedrooms are a delight, with careful styling, super-soft bedding, and a real feeling of understated luxury. The main bedroom has a super-king bed, a Juliet balcony that looks over the lovely gardens and a striking en suite bathroom with roll-top bath and shower. The second bedroom is just as impressive with another super-king size bed and a large en suite featuring a claw foot bath and shower over.

Bedrooms three and four are spacious and tastefully styled with twin beds that can be pushed together if preferred. Both bedrooms are served by the stately family bathroom.

The outside areas are plentiful, featuring a private gated driveway with room for four cars as well as a games-room in the garage with table-tennis, darts and table football - expect many hours of competitive fun here! There are also two terraces with tables, chairs and parasols that look over the lovely gardens - perfect spots for al fresco dining, celebrating and socialising.

The picturesque, landscaped gardens are a delight and incredibly peaceful. There is a lovely little stream running through and a decorative pond. Note that part of the garden can be secured from the pond to make it entirely enclosed.

Locally there is much to see and explore as Frampton is well-placed for many of Dorset's most iconic locations… The county town of Dorchester and neighbouring Poundbury are just five miles away providing lots of shopping opportunities and a number of supermarkets.

A 15 minute drive gets you to the Jurassic Coast where you can visit iconic locations such West Bay, Bridport, Burton Bradstock, Abbotsbury, Weymouth, Chesil Beach and Lulworth Cove.

Historical sites such as the Iron Age hill fort of Maiden Castle and the chalk giant of Cerne Abbas are well worth a visit and both less than ten miles away. The opportunities to explore are almost endless.

Closer to home is the little village of Maiden Newton (two and a half miles) where you will find a local shop and pub.
