Howdy partners and welcome to The Sheriff! Surrounded by an idyllic woodland and emersed in the beautiful countryside of the Lincolnshire Fenlands this unique cabin is packed with Wild West personality and perfect for a rural escape or solo retreat. With the charming market town of Holbeach a short drive away and miles of scenic Fenland to explore, this is sure to be a getaway to remember where even your four-legged friends are invited.

The owners of The Sheriff have a deep-rooted love of all things Wild West and this quirky cabin encapsulates the very essence of the American frontier. From the sun-drenched front porch to the open fire-pit, this fabulous hideaway has oodles of character. The living space is open plan and warmed by a fabulous open fire during cooler months. The cosy bedroom is part of the living space but tucked away with a comfy king-size bed for a great night's sleep. A separate kitchen has all you need in miniature with an electric hob, microwave and fridge with icebox, perfect for chilling your American beer! A handy shower-room is ideal for refreshing after a day of adventure.

Outside you can sit on the front porch and enjoy your quirky surroundings or barbecue your burgers on the fire-pit watching the sunset in true cowboy fashion! Your nearest neighbours are a family of Kunekune pigs who spend their days mooching around their pen, delightful to watch throughout the day. The Sheriff has two other neighbours, Longhorn (5429) and Rawhide (5430), however each one is cleverly tucked away so your privacy is assured. Welcome to The Sheriff!

Nature lovers will be perfectly at home in this beautiful part of the world. The Lincolnshire Fenlands consist of grasslands and shallow meres which spread miles in every direction and offer endless opportunities to explore. The area is synonymous with crop growing so do look out for roadside stalls selling the freshest produce, the ideal accompaniment to your barbecue!

The Sutton Bridge Lighthouse is a short drive away where you will find miles of scenic walks along the coast, perfect for you and your dog. For a spot of shopping head for Springfields Outlet in the pretty market town of Spalding with a good selection of independent shops, cafes and a garden and craft centre. Not far away Bay Tree Garden Centre is also worth a visit where you will find a vinyl store and antique shop.

If the chef fancies a night off, try the Anchor Inn at Sutton Bridge with an excellent reputation for its carvery on a Wednesday evening and Sunday lunchtime (do book ahead as its popular). The Red Lion pub in Holbeach is also recommended for good pub grub and regular live weekend entertainment. To stock up on your barbecue supplies, Sheerers butchers are just a few minutes away, ideal for those balmy nights sitting by the fire-pit. Alternatively, the owners can provide barbecue and breakfast hampers for your arrival, via prior arrangement.

Whether you choose to explore the delights of the surrounding Fenland or stay closer to home, happy memories will be made at this unique retreat.
