You'll also find the family bathroom on this floor, just perfect for a blissful evening soak in the bathtub.

Head upstairs to discover the three pretty bedrooms - there are two separate staircases to the first floor bedrooms. Bedroom two is a charming double room located on the far end of The Moohey, away from the other bedrooms and perfect for those looking for a little privacy. Bedrooms three and four are both lovely twin rooms, decorated in gorgeous colours, with inviting and cosy beds for a restful night's sleep. The Moohey is full of country charm, with its exposed beams and sloping ceilings - so taller guests may need to mind their heads! Children will love the seating space on the balcony with cosy bean bags - and there's even table-football which converts into a mini table-tennis and a snooker table, sure to keep them entertained for hours on end.

The outside space is simply wonderful. If you're looking for a holiday full of adventures, you're certainly in for a treat here. Less than a mile away you'll find the pretty Cornish coastal village of Downderry, an unspoilt corner of Cornwall away from the hustle and bustle, and a peaceful place to be at any time of the year. Soak up the salty air and blue seas and relax in the sunshine on the sheltered stretch of shingle and sand beach. If you're feeling hungry, we recommend making a pit stop for a delicious lunch at Inn on the Shore, a charming pub nestled right on the beach. Seaton beach is also nearby, a mile-long shingle beach ideal for those looking for a dip in the sea. When the tide is out you can walk along the beach from Seaton to Downderry and all the way along to Rame. The beaches are dog friendly all year round - so your four-legged friends will be in their element!

The working fishing town of Looe is nearby and provides traditional seaside charm where you can try your luck at crab, mackerel or even deep-sea shark fishing, and the pretty twin villages of Kingsand and Cawsand provide a real step back in time, with colour washed cottages, narrow streets and a seemingly disproportionate number of pubs and cafes! If you prefer more grandeur, head for the historical houses and gardens of the Mount Edgcumbe and Port Eliot and Anthony Estates.
