A stunning property with stylish interiors, fabulous outdoor space, and set in the perfect location of Falmouth which is ideal for all the family or a group of friends. Tucked away in a tranquil setting, you feel a million miles away from civilisation, but you are only moments from all the amenities Falmouth has to offer.
Tregenver Cottage was once the stables to the main manor house, and it is now a delightful property which will really wow you; discovered down a steep but short lane, through granite gateposts and into a charming cobbled courtyard, which is filled with scented roses and tropical palm trees. The front door leads to a large entrance hall with a baby grand piano, which is fun for everyone to enjoy, and from here there are two bedrooms (both with en suite shower-rooms) that overlook the courtyard and front garden.
The first floor is stunning, with a large sitting-room which has a cosy wood-burner for the cooler evenings and plenty of room for everyone to relax together. The sitting-room links to the bright and large kitchen which has everything you might need for a feast; perhaps pop down to the local fishmongers and see what delights you can find. There is also a handy breakfast table in the kitchen for smaller groups or perhaps a game of cards. The fabulous large conservatory houses the dining-room which overlooks the sunny back garden and has doors leading out to it. The handy utility is housed in the conservatory and there is also a downstairs cloakroom which is perfect for muddy dogs, soggy boots, and sandy beach towels.
Three further bedrooms, the family bathroom and separate WC are all on the first floor too; found down the hallway, they are separate from the living space and are lovely and peaceful.
Tregenver Cottage is the ideal base for your holiday, with so much space on offer both inside and out. The large garden is great for a game of boule, just be careful not to throw your ball into the pond! (please do take care with children and dogs near the pond). Tregoniggie Woods, moments from your front door, is perfect for dog walking or perhaps den building. Swanpool beach is a half-hour walk through the back roads of Falmouth and Falmouth town is easy to reach too although it is rather hilly so you might want to take a taxi home! Penmere train station is only a ten minute walk away if you wish to explore Cornwall by train and you can hear the local toot from the branch line train occasionally passing nearby.
This is a great location to explore with the stunning tropical garden of Trebah and Glendurgan close by, perhaps hop on a ferry from Falmouth to explore the Roseland or take a trip to go dolphin spotting. The three beaches in Falmouth all offer something different with rock pooling, paddle boarding and sailing available. There is a plethora of eateries and shops in Falmouth for all ages and tastes; you cannot beat fish and chips on the harbour front though. Many famous attractions are within a 50 minute drive and with so much on offer, you will just have to come back to discover more.
