Sandy and pebble beaches are not too far away either, Blackpool Sands and the historic Slapton Sands to name a couple.
Not forgetting that Dartmouth golf course runs adjacent to the cottage and the Higher Dinnicombe grounds, making this cottage a great choice for a luxury golfing holiday.

You could spend all day, every day, in this beautiful spot, however given that close by you have the charming village of Dittisham and are just a matter of miles from the extremely popular naval town of Dartmouth, a trip out to either one, or both, would be highly recommended. Dartmouth is a super popular spot, with numerous eateries, welcoming watering holes, secluded beaches and cafes, and a fabulous collection of shops and boutiques, Dartmouth offers a great day out for both young and old.
Or perhaps a day out at the beach is on the agenda? If so, the very popular beach of Blackpool Sands is only a short car drive away, with its cafe, beach shop and numerous activities such as kayaking and paddle boarding (all equipment including wetsuits can be hired on the beach), a great day out for all ages.
There is so much to do and see in and around this glorious part of the South Hams, from exploring the nearby villages and towns to the endless attractions and events, there is never a dull moment.
