Super-king

Just as the name suggests this cabin is a perfect spot for a romantic weekend for two. Hidden away in a secluded corner of the owners' smallholding with just the chickens for company and the nature of the Cornish countryside.

Cuddle Cabin is found down a tree-lined path where, when you spot your hideaway, you will see a large outdoor seating area which is a wonderful place to relax. Enjoy a refreshing glass of champagne in the early evening glow or perhaps watch for shooting stars on a winter's eve whilst toasting marshmallows on the fire-pit.

Inside this cosy cabin you will see that no detail has gone amiss; a squishy L-shaped sofa is perfect to snuggle up on in front of the fire or enjoy a good film. The kitchen has everything you might need for a tasty meal or perhaps enjoy exploring this rural part of Cornwall and see what hidden culinary treasures you might find. The calming bedroom has a luxurious dressing-room to keep the bedroom as tranquil as possible and of course an en suite shower-room. Both the living space and bedroom have double doors that open onto your decking, enjoy wandering out in your fluffy dressing gown with your morning coffee and listening to the birds.

The bedroom is just gorgeous, with lovely linens and carefully chosen furniture and features, and you can bring the outside in by throwing the patio doors open - bliss! There is even a dressing-room en suite to the bedroom, so you won't be short of space or storage for all of your holiday essentials.

Outside, you are treated to your own secluded seating area and fire-pit barbecue for al fresco dining and cooking - why not toast some marshmallows under the stars? There is also a large lawned area, home to the owners' free-range chickens, which you are welcome to enjoy/explore and you may even get to meet some friendly pigs too.

From the moment you arrive here and wheel your luggage up the private tree-lined path to the front door, you know that you are somewhere rather special. From the initial glimpse of the cabin at the gate and as more of this cute hideaway comes into view, you will appreciate the seclusion and privacy of this luxurious little love nest.

Cuddle Cabin is very close to the lovely village of Constantine, it may be small but it has all the essentials; a village pub, a convenience store and a general store (with an off-licence offering a unique and huge variety of fine wines, beers and spirits - well worth a visit). This pretty village itself is nice to wander around and there are many walks on the surrounding footpaths, the wonderful scenery and estuaries around the beautiful Helford River and the craggy coves and spectacular sites of the Lizard peninsula are also within easy reach.

Just up the road from the cabin is Slice cafe, serving scrumptious breakfasts, lunches and cakes, amongst other delights. There are many other great eateries in the surrounding villages and, if you venture a little further into the maritime town of Falmouth (complete with some brilliant beaches) or up to the Cathedral City of Truro, you will indeed be spoilt for choice.

This peaceful location has more to offer than the usual holiday cottage, as the owner runs Wellness Days and a Rural Retreat. They are happy to offer lovely extras such as Champagne, Cornish cream teas, bouquets of flowers, massage and/or beauty treatments in the comfort of the cottage and in addition have a wreath making workshop. Booking in advance is advisable.
