The Enchanted Wardrobe is stuff that dreams are made of - a holiday here will transport you to the magical land of Narnia - no, really! The pretty hamlet of Warleggan is twinned with CS Lewis' fantasy land and is where your adventure begins.

Nestled into a peaceful corner of a meadow, surrounded by 12 acres of open countryside, historic woodlands and moorland streams - along with its siblings The Lion's Den and The Witch's Wagon (picking up on a theme yet?), each with plenty of their own private space - you will soon fall under the spell of the breath-taking panoramic views across the Glynn Valley. Perfect for families and couples alike, wake to the sound of birdsong, spend the day spotting wildlife, marvel at spectacular sunsets, share stories around the fire-pit and enjoy meals in the great outdoors as you embrace country living at its very best. At the end of the day, watch the stars twinkle in the sky from the bubbling hot tub - this is a designated dark landscape area, after all.

Step inside and it's anything but a wardrobe, super-spacious (seriously, it's huge!) with all you could need for a comfortable stay, lovingly handcrafted with the utmost quality and an exceptional eye for detail. The bespoke fitted kitchen includes an oven, two-ring hob and full-size fridge, and there's a dining-area too, with a picture window looking out on the beautiful view. The warming wood-burner ensures year-round cosiness, with the sofa providing the perfect place to sit with a good book - perhaps a du Maurier or Rosamunde Pilcher, both of whom were inspired by this wonderful county. There's a sumptuous king-size bed (lazy mornings gazing at the view are a must) as well as triple bunk-beds that the kids will love and, in true luxury glamping style, a stylish en suite shower-room.

Your four-legged friend is more than welcome to join you here and will love exploring Bodmin Moor, with its 100 square miles of wide-open spaces and rock formations that defy gravity, stopping off at the occasional moorland village pub to refuel along the way - this is true Poldark country. If you fancy swapping your walking boots for two wheels, the network of cycle trails at Cardinham Woods and Lanhydrock Estate are within easy reach. For something less energetic, stop off at the majestic Pencarrow or Lanhydrock House and Gardens, which will entertain both young and old alike. Seasonal live theatre and shows are on offer at the Sterts Moorland Theatre and the Rum Store at Carnglaze Caverns. The friendly owners are on-hand should you need any local recommendations and even offer scrummy home-bred sausages and bacon for purchase, but otherwise will stay out-of-sight.

No holiday to Cornwall would be complete without a trip to the coast and, with both north and south coasts within easy access, where to begin? On the north, you'll find the surfing beaches of fashionable Polzeath and Widemouth Bay along with the culinary capital of Padstow and the delightful Port Isaac (of Doc Martin fame). On the south, take to shipwreck diving and shark fishing or, for smaller catches, try your hand at crab fishing off the Banjo Pier in Looe, relax on the beaches at Whitsand Bay or watch them messing about on the water in trendy Fowey. Enchanted yet?
