The cottage surpassed our expectations. It was obviously very well looked after and the standard of the interior was fantastic, including very comfy beds. We had perfect sunshine throughout our stay, which made it an ideal base for exploring West Penwith, with the coast path and beautiful Portheras Cove just a short walk from the door....

Beautiful cottage on edge of the village. Very friendly neighbours and quiet location. Lovely private sunny garden to relax and sit in. Comfortable and cosy accommodation. Comfortable beds and good shower plenty of hot water. Excellent off road parking. Bus stop opposite cottage which we used to go into St Ives and Sennen/St Just. A beautifully decorated, dog friendly cottage that was truly comfortable and well equipped for exploring many of the wonderful sights in the area. Great to be able to walk the dog from the doorstep in lovely countryside. We would definitely return if we visited the area again....

comfortable cottage in great location- loved the walk to the local bay via Pendeen and also the Tinners Arms at Zennor a short drive away and the atmosphere of truly wild Cornwall in general.

This is our third visit to Thimble Cottage and it didn't disappoint. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need for a great stay and the parking is a bonus. We love this area of Cornwall and there are plenty of great places to visit nearby. St Just is just a stones throw away for all of your holiday essentials and there are some good pubs/restaurants nearby if you don't want to cook. I'd recommend the Queens Arms in Bottalack for a hearty evening meal or the Old Success Inn in Sennen Cove for lunch with a view. The Fresh Cornish Fish Fishmongers in Newlyn is great for the catch of the today if you don't mind cooking and Duke Street Cafe in Newlyn for a slice of cake and cup of tea or the obligatory cream team. We will definitely be back next year....
