If you were looking for cottages like Harriet Place, how about trying these:

The enchanting views from this gorgeous residence will mesmerise you, and you will feel your worries drift away with the ebbing tide at Harriet Place. Tucked away down a small path in an elevated position and shared only with three other houses, you will find the ornate front door to your perfect holiday home. Set on the first and second floor within a classic townhouse in the heart of Falmouth, the owners have beautifully furnished the property with an eclectic mix of furniture making this a very unique place to stay. The owners' apartment is on the ground floor with their own private entrance.

The elegant sitting-room spans the first floor of building with large picture windows framing the estuary (please note there are no curtains), watch the sun come up on a winter's morning or enjoy watching the water sparkle on a long summer's day with a fresh cup of coffee. The eat in kitchen overlooks the owners' luscious green garden, this is the perfect spot to spend quality time with one another while making a gin and tonic perhaps.

Each bedroom on the second floor has a calming outlook, with two of them sharing a view over the water and the third bedroom overlooking the owners' garden. Each bedroom has a super-king bed where you can stretch out your weary limbs and enjoy a good night's sleep after days breathing in the salty sea air. There is a patio outside the property that catches the morning sun and is the perfect spot for breakfast, pile the tray up high with all your goodies from the kitchen and enjoy your feast. The family bathroom is found on the lower landing of the first floor, at the turn of the stairs.

Harriet Place is set on a steep hill in Falmouth with on street parking and once you have found your spot, you can easily have a car free holiday. The joys of Falmouth are all within an easy walk from the property, with the old high street full of independent shops, restaurants and cafes you might find it hard to choose where to go. Catch a ferry to St Mawes or further afield from the Prince of Wales Pier and enjoy meandering the back streets of this pretty harbour town.
