Poachers Cottage is set in a little cobbled square shared by some other original fishermen's cottages.
Appledore is a traditional old fishing village with a wonderful network of little lanes and passageways to explore.

Across the estuary, reached by a lovely seasonal passenger ferry, is Instow - where there are wide sandy beaches.

North Devon's beaches are as good as any in Cornwall for surfing! Endless stretches of golden sand and rolling waves.
This is a great destination for keen sailors - but it is just as fascinating to sit on the Quay and watch.
John's Deli has a shop in both Appledore and Instow. The Appledore shop also has a lovely cafe. New this year - picnic hampers to order for your day on the beach.

Pricing

All prices are £ per week per cottage. Where applicable the prices are inclusive of VAT. The prices are specified for Saturday changeover dates.

For weekly holidays or short breaks beginning on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday the price for the following Saturday applies. For those beginning on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday the price for the previous week applies.

Bed linen and towels are included in the price. In addition, many cottages also include central heating within the price and this should be taken into consideration when comparing prices. There are no extra charges for cots or high chairs where they are listed in the property description on the website.

There is a charge of £25 per pet per week or short break.

A non-refundable booking fee of £28 is payable per booking.
