Helford House sits on the banks of this tidal river and you can spot the last section of the path down to the house with the rope railing (top right of the photo).

At the bottom of the garden a gate leads out to a lower patio with river access.

This is such a beatiful and unspoilt part of Cornwall.
At the bottom of the garden a gate leads out to a lower patio with river access.
This steep but shady path leads you to the house on the river, there are a few steps at the top and bottom and half way down.
The view of the house as you descend gives you glimpses of the river beyond.
The views around the Helford river are spectacular.
Port Navas is a great place to explore anytime of year.
This beautiful location is hard to beat.
With high or low tide, this is a great place to spot the local birdlife on the river from the end of the garden.
Trebah Gardens are just up the road and well worth a visit and they are dog friendly.
Walk or drive down to the Helford passage a few minutes from the house where you can join the coast paths in either direction and stop at the Ferry Boat Inn to try some local fish.
The view from the pub is absolutely stunning and if you want to get closer to the water you can hire a boat from here.

Pricing

All prices are £ per week per cottage. Where applicable the prices are inclusive of VAT. The prices are specified for Saturday changeover dates.

For weekly holidays or short breaks beginning on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday the price for the following Saturday applies. For those beginning on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday the price for the previous week applies.

Bed linen and towels are included in the price. In addition, many cottages also include central heating within the price and this should be taken into consideration when comparing prices. There are no extra charges for cots or high chairs where they are listed in the property description on the website.

There is a charge of £25 per pet per week or short break.

A non-refundable booking fee of £28 is payable per booking.
