If you were looking for cottages like Thimble Lodge, how about trying these:

Escape to the wonders of this magical enchanted Lodge that allows you to slow down, be one with your surroundings and fully recharge with your four-legged trusted friend. Thimble Lodge has been hand-built by the owners and positioned to take in the glorious views of the Tamar Valley and surrounding fields, and of course the neighbouring llamas will always say a cheery good morning!

Thimble Lodge sits in its own grounds and offers pared back rustic accommodation. The main cabin is both unique and cosy from the wood-burner in the corner to the two cosy chairs and the plump comfortable double bed so you really can hunker down and indulge in a book or a favourite movie on the Smart TV. Come the morning, open the stable-door, sit in bed and soak in the views that will delight!

Leaving the main lodge, walk around the covered verandah to access the kitchenette which is separate to the main lodge. Step down into the kitchenette area which has a kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave and plug-in double hob, but please note there is no oven. You might like to book ahead at local restaurants for a delicious meal. You will also find the separate WC and shower tucked into the back of this separate lodge that will always be nice and warm thanks to the electric towel rail. The set up is both convenient and quirky and you will not want to leave come the end of your break.

Thimble Lodge offers numerous outside areas for you to enjoy. From the covered verandah and rattan furniture, to the detached pergola at the bottom of your own private garden with those all-important sun loungers, barbecue and that wonderful back drop of the Tamar Valley. At night the Lodge takes on a new dimension as the night sky lights up, as well as the fairy lights. The owner has also thought about those late-night arrivals with sensory lights lighting the way from the gravelled gated parking area all the way up to the Lodge.

Thimble Lodge has a neighbour Thimble Hall (4832) and although separate the Lodge and Hall can be booked together and are linked by a pathway and gate, should this be required, but sit on their own private plots if booked separately.
