KingThe Garden Cottage is a gorgeous, stylish, contemporary state-of-the-art house set within the grounds of the owners' home on the outskirts of the Bone Valley and the moorlands of west Cornwall. You will be charmed by the simple decor and the use of light that floods in through the bi-fold doors which give access to balconies both upstairs and down; these overlook the well-maintained gardens and offer distant sea views across Mount's Bay to St Michael's Mount.
The ground floor has a roaring wood-burner and is all open plan, and the first floor bedroom is, well... absolutely stunning. This really is the perfect destination for honeymooners and mini-mooners alike.
West Cornwall is renowned for its stunning beaches, hidden coves and breathtaking scenery. The Garden Cottage is so beautiful you may never wish to leave but if you do decide to explore the area you will be spoilt for choice. St Michael's Mount is a magical place to visit and you can stroll along the cobbled causeway at low tide and catch the ferryboat when the tide is high.
Penzance is a short journey away, colourful and eclectic you will find lots to see and do here. Swimmers will enjoy the Art Deco Jubilee Pool with geo-thermal springs to warm the water. Surfers should head out to Hayle or Sennen Cove where the Atlantic rollers provide entertainment in the sea, or perhaps St Ives where you can surf on Porthmeor beach and also explore the many galleries and eateries in town. Newlyn sits along the promenade a short stroll from Penzance, a pretty fishing village steeped in history and now home to some fabulous galleries. Pretty as a picture Mousehole is a little further along the coast and definitely somewhere to add to your "things to do" list. However you plan to spend your getaway, The Garden Cottage will be somewhere you will remember forever.
