This detached granite barn has been beautifully restored using a wealth of locally sourced, traditional materials. The views from the garden across the Owners’ fields and woods encompass wonderful walks leading into the magnificent Luxulyan Valley, a World Heritage Site. With bird watching hides, this wildlife haven is an idyllic spot, perfect for dog walking. With only the Owners and Snuggledown (1975) as unobtrusive neighbours, Trethevey Old Barn offers peace and tranquility, although picturesque Fowey is nearby and beautiful gardens at Lanhydrock, Heligan and the Eden Project all beckon. A sunny patio encourages outdoor eating and indoors the large kitchen/dining-room is well-equipped. The spacious sitting-room has doors out onto the patio, comfortable sofas and a wood-burner. Steep wooden stairs (please take care with children) lead up to a gallery. Two single bedrooms share a shower-room downstairs while upstairs are two double bedrooms, one with a Juliet balcony, and both with sloping ceilings and en suite facilities.
