As you step into this ground floor apartment the first room you will discover is the contemporary fully fitted kitchen that not only provides a Nespresso machine but a rather handy wine fridge, perfect for celebratory bubbles to accompany a family feast on the first night. Head on to the sitting/dining-room that offers the perfect view of the beach and the coastline beyond, from the balcony you can people watch or watch the sun set - you really do have a prime position that will be the envy of your friends. After sunset snuggle into the sofas and enjoy a family film night before heading to bed for a restful night's sleep.
There are three blissful bedrooms to pick from, all with a Smart TV meaning you always have the option of retreating to your room after a day of body boarding! Bedroom one offers a double bed and yet another breathtaking view of the beach, the perfect start to any morning! Bedroom two being a 'zip and link' room offers the versatility of either a twin bed or double - simply let us know and all will be ready for your arrival, lastly bedroom three has a super handy truckle bed creating a twin option should this be required. All of the bedrooms share a beautiful contemporary bathroom.
The beauty of a holiday here is you can choose to be as active as you wish and, subject to the weather, you can order food from our 24-hour room service so you can simply enjoy the fabulous surroundings of your apartment all day, every day without leaving. It would be a shame not to explore The Saunton Sands Hotel's fantastic facilities though and as a guest at Sands View, you can access all, including a large outdoor swimming pool (heated from mid-May to September but open for cold water dips in winter if you are feeling brave), a well-equipped gym, tennis, and fitness classes. You can even loan a Dryrobe from reception! The Source Spa and Wellness is where you can enjoy the marine-inspired thermal suite, treatment rooms and Finnish aroma sauna. Guests can even enjoy surfing lessons which are free during school holidays and at weekends between June and September.
The beautiful sandy beach is a short stroll away and there are many more along the coast including Croyde, Woolacombe and Westward Ho!. The South West Coast Path passes the front door of the hotel, and with 630 miles to explore there's plenty to keep the fittest walker happy. The pretty villages of Appledore and Instow are worth a look and link by a passenger ferry across the estuary in summer. Golfers can choose between the stunning 36-hole course at Saunton, Ilfracombe with the most spectacular views and Portmore on the outskirts of Barnstaple.
