Nestled on the outskirts of Loddiswell, only three miles from the exceptionally popular market town of Kingsbridge, this cute and welcoming village offers all the amenities you will need to help your holiday run smoothly and hassle free. This charming village is also steeped in history, dating back to Roman times!
There are numerous walks and trails in the surrounding area. For the walkers and explorers of the party, you are in the perfect spot for donning your walking boots and really getting into the heart of this breathtaking countryside and coastline.
Returning to The Hayloft, this attractive and inviting property is set over two levels. The reverse level living arrangement makes the most of the beautifully vaulted ceilings in the living, dining, and kitchen area. However right on your doorstep you have the magical woodlands to explore, which have stood the test of time and are simply magnificent. Or perhaps a romantic walk along the river as the sun goes down sounds picture perfect. You will be treated to this and much more in this beautiful location.
Venturing further afield will find you in numerous hot spots and 'must see' villages and towns, Kingsbridge, Salcombe and Thurlestone to name a few. The cafes, eateries and general offerings of the surrounding villages make exploring a must, as there is truly so much to see and do. The stunning sandy beaches of Bantham, Bigbury-on-Sea and Thurlestone are amongst the best in the country and are all within seven or eight miles from your doorstep. Good luck dragging the little ones away!
Or perhaps something a little vaster and more breathtaking, if so, you are only a few miles from the stunning scenery of Dartmoor. Trekking around these magnificent lands will entertain for hours, especially as the 'locals' are exceptionally cute and rather cheeky. The Dartmoor ponies, sheep and cows are super entertaining and are always on hand with a warm welcome.

Private parking is provided in a lay-by adjacent to the private lane metres away from the Hayloft and parking for an additional two cars is available on request. *Only 1 cot is provided, bring your own travel cot.
