As you turn in to the private lane leading to Wallis’ Barn, a beautiful panorama over the Cornish countryside to the sea at Gunwalloe’s Church Cove tells you that you have arrived. Alongside the Owners’ three neighbouring holiday homes, Rowe’s Cottage (1724), Pennywort Cottage (1745) and The Old Stable (1901), as well as one other cottage and a nearby working farm, this superb reverse level barn conversion has a tennis lawn for guests’ exclusive use. The entrance is up a flight of external granite steps to the first floor. The spacious, light and airy open plan living-room combines contemporary living with original exposed beams, pitch-pine floors, granite stonework, an LCD television and a wood-burner. The well-equipped kitchen and dining areas create the perfect setting for a family meal (delicious meals are available to order). A barn door opens onto a corridor which leads to a bathroom and a self-contained bedroom with a seating-area and television. Downstairs are three further bedrooms, two with glazed doors to the courtyard, one having an en suite shower-room, and another bathroom. Outside is the enclosed garden, games lawn and external shower. Free broadband access is provided at this property. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
