The Wagon looks across gorgeous sweeping farmland to the hills of Dartmoor National Park.
This is the enclosed garden at the back of the Wagon. There are areas for wild flowers and lawns for your dog to run around on, or for you to have picnics that celebrate the views.

Across the estuary from Instow, you can use the little seasonal passenger ferry, is the historic fishing village of Appledore.

A last minute tripped booked to enjoy the first few days of 2024 together and what a find!!! The wagon is the most perfectly equipped little home from home with everything you could need for a peaceful and private countryside break. The horses outside our window made it even more magical and moments like enjoying the sunrise in the bubbling hot tub made the stay luxurious as well as humble. Our welcome was really warm with homemade scones made for us and a mini hamper of treats left inside too. The owners are on hand to help with any queries but ultimately leave you to enjoy your break with privacy, which is perfect! We can’t wait to be back there, perhaps in the summer so we can enjoy (warmer) countryside walks but rest assured, if you do visit in the winter, the wagon is wonderfully warm and cosy and the crackling log burner is a real treat! Best staycation! We loved every minute!...

This is a beautiful shepherds hut with everything you need. The location is idyllic and I loved watching the little lambs playing in the field next door.
