The up and coming eco hotspot of the south west, with the Eden Project and proposed eco villages of St Austell, there are plenty of green holiday cottages in south Cornwall. A self catering holiday is best taken between Falmouth and the Tamar Estuary, along the ‘Cornish Riviera’ with waterside restaurants and coastal pubs to visit, plus sight-seeing inland at the Cathedral City of Truro and the history of Lostwithiel.

From the sailing waters of St Mawes on the Roseland peninsula, along this picturesque coastline of broad estuaries, to the tall ships of Mevagissey, the safe anchorage of Fowey at its estuary mouth, and on to the fishing port of Looe, all lead up to the Rame peninsula, home to Freathy Cliff, the Antony Estate and Mount Edgcumbe, Torpoint, and Kingsand which looks out towards Plymouth Sound.
