Set in the heart of thriving St Agnes, tucked into an unexpectedly secluded spot (just off the main road into St Agnes) you will find Dales Yard, which sleeps six lucky guests. Superb quality and attention to detail make Dales Yard an absolute delight. With beaches and coastal footpaths just minutes away, this is the perfect base for enjoying all the local area has to offer.
Set off the main street that meanders through the thriving coastal village of St Agnes, Dales Yard is just perfect for those who like to step out into village life when the mood suits.
Step into the ground floor which has an entrance hall, a useful shower-room and a welcoming open plan sitting-room. Stylish seating, piled with cushions and throws, is set before a warming wood-burner. If you would like to watch TV, programmes can be 'cast' using your phone or tablet and both android and Apple devices are compatible. The kitchen/dining-room has a fully fitted Shaker-style kitchen and incorporates everything you'll need for easy holiday catering. Upstairs are four light and airy bedrooms, decorated in soothing neutral colours; this is a wonderfully restful place. A contemporary family bathroom completes the accommodation on this floor.
Heading outside you will find a patio to the rear of the property enclosed by high walls offering a wonderful social setting perfect for evening drinks and star gazing around the fire-pit.
St Agnes is a friendly and welcoming village with award-winning eateries, village pubs, galleries and shops galore, with renowned surfing beaches at Trevaunance Cove and Chapel Porth and spectacular coastal footpaths. Walking to the beach takes just fifteen minutes and all the village amenities are on the doorstep, perfect for popping out for fresh morning croissants, lunchtime pasties or a leisurely evening meal.
This is a beautiful part of Cornwall to explore, its dramatic heritage coastline dotted with tumbledown mine buildings, relics of Cornwall's tin mining industry. There are four superb sandy surfing beaches within five miles and surfboard tuition and hire available locally for those who'd like to venture into the waves, with beachside bistros and cafes for those who prefer to keep their feet dry.
