The Annexe can be found at the end of a private road, secluded yet within walking distance of the beautiful historic village of Mayfield.
Presented to a lovely standard, The Annexe offers a bright open plan living area, where you can snuggle up on the sofa or relax in the armchair (due to arrive shortly) fire up the cosy wood-stove effect gas fire and watch your favourite movie with a nice glass of something. When it's time to eat, prepare a quick snack or three course meal with everything to hand in the fully equipped kitchen.
During the warmer months, open the double doors out onto the enclosed private courtyard and enjoy al fresco dining. Off the sitting-area is an excellent shower-room and a double bedroom with comfy king-size bed.
Famous for the legend of St Dunstan and his battle with the devil, who later lent his name to one of the four impressive village churches, Mayfield offers a choice of eateries. The Elizabethan village pub, The Middle House, is set in a full-timbered building dating from 1575 and is popular with locals and visitors alike or just along the High Street you will find the Pink Cabbage cafe if you fancy something a bit lighter - that is if you can resist their amazing cake!
