If you were looking for cottages like Horsecombe Treehouse, how about trying these:

This beautifully crafted Treehouse at Horsecombe Farm is perched within the branches of a stunning silver birch tree, behind the Owners' gorgeous Georgian farmhouse. There are spectacular views of the rolling hills of the Horsecombe Valley down to Batson Creek and the Salcombe Estuary. For those of you who read Winnie the Pooh as a child, do not even begin to compare this with Owl's ramshackle affair, this is quirky for sure, but very, very stylish. Go down the wooden steps to the cedar, shingle clad Treehouse and onto the elevated decking, where you can enjoy an afternoon tea, surrounded by nature as Dartmoor ponies, bred by the Owners, graze in their acres of fields and buzzards and barn owls are regularly seen from the deck. Alternatively stargaze at night and listen to the crickets and look out for the glow-worms. Wake up in the morning and winch up the wicker basket, filled with warm fresh croissants and pain au chocolat from the local bakery and provided by the Owners on request. Sleep in the comfy bed piled high with gorgeous linens and cushions. The ceiling features some rustic wood and the walls are clad in oak wood. Curl up on the soft tweedy chairs and listen to the sound of silence all around. With soft lighting, comfy chairs and an eclectic mix of prints and ornaments, treasures collected lovingly by the Owners over the years, Horsecombe Treehouse is quite enchanting. An en suite shower-room lined with ceramic wood tiles has piping hot water with organic paraben-free hair and body wash products, there's a proper flushing loo and a lovely granite river rock wash-basin that sits on a hand-crafted table. With fairy lights in the branches above you, the deck is the most perfect spot to relax or perhaps barbecue something delicious on the patio or toast marshmallows on the firepit. This really is a beautiful spot.
