This superb Victorian mansion commands a panoramic setting above the village of Ansty Cross. Breachwood House is beautifully presented and is an ideal choice for an extended family holiday or to celebrate a special occasion. Guests will enjoy the space and character here with high ceilings, a huge dining-room, a grand entrance hall and staircase, two sitting-rooms and a peaceful study with a piano – all with wonderful furnishings and the welcoming atmosphere of a family home. Outside is a very large garden, plenty of parking, and a sheltered terrace for relaxing and enjoying the view. This area is rich with interest; visit the highest point in Dorset at Bulbarrow Hill, historic villages such as Milton Abbas and Cerne Abbas and, a bit further afield but great for a day out, the spectacular Purbeck coastline with Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and the long sandy beaches of Studland. The Old Coach House (1386) is also within the grounds – an excellent option for larger parties.
