Tucked away down a narrow lane bordered by high hedges, Betty’s Bungalow is spacious and comfortable, set in a lovely garden with an adjoining paddock; children can run around to their heart’s content, or enjoy the games-room and trampoline (however please supervise them at all times). The Owners have an organic farm nearby and provide fresh eggs, apple juice, jam and even hand-made soaps. The Owner’s father was a great reader and almost every room is full of books. The sitting-room overlooks the garden, and the kitchen is particularly toasty in cooler months with a cosy Rayburn. The dining-room also has French doors out to the garden. Close to both Cornish coasts, there are plenty of beaches to enjoy and the moors are not too far for the walkers among you. A cream tea awaits, so hop in the car and head for Cornwall and this rural haven.
