The slate-floored sitting-room has an off-white sofa and chairs arranged around the attractive inglenook fireplace, which houses a wood-burner. Next door is a second sitting-room decorated in a more contemporary style with a painted stone floor, white lime-washed walls, an open fire and the original steep stone staircase up to the first floor.
