The Linhaye
221 is no longer with usIf you were looking for cottages like The Linhaye, how about trying these:
The Linhaye is an amazing find, hidden down a farm lane with views to the sea. Set apart from the Owners’ home, The Linhaye is a single-storey, detached barn conversion, well suited to less mobile guests. Externally the character has been retained, internally the cottage is modern and full of character. The sitting-room is comfortable with a high-vaulted ceiling, open fire and doors onto a sheltered, enclosed patio. Terraced flowerbeds surround the area, which has a table and chairs for six and an umbrella beside the barbecue. A slate floor runs from the sitting-room into the well-equipped kitchen/dining-room. The bedrooms overlook another enclosed courtyard at the front, which also has a table and seats. There is great local eating, from Rick Stein’s renowned Fish Restaurant at Padstow to many local pubs. A complementary therapy centre is in nearby Port Isaac, one of the prettiest fishing villages in Cornwall. Within easy reach are safe beaches and spectacular cliff and moorland scenery for walking, painting or bird watching. Nearby are four golf courses, including St Enodoc (a famous links course), dinghy sailing, surfing, scuba diving, riding and sea fishing. The Linhaye is a peaceful retreat, ideal for exploring Cornwall, summer or winter, including such attractions as the Eden Project and Heligan.
