Crow’s Nest
2046 is no longer with usIf you were looking for cottages like Crow’s Nest, how about trying these:
Crow’s Nest is set just yards from the harbour in the picturesque village of Charlestown, in a quiet residential lane that borders a tiny stream at the rear (safely fenced off, but please take care with children). Semi-detached and decorated with soft neutral colours giving a restful air, the cottage is perfect for families and friends alike. The open plan living-room has a door out to an enclosed garden and patio, lovely for breakfast or evening drinks. The large en suite bedroom has a dressing-room (ideal for a travel cot) while the double and twin bedrooms share the family bathroom. The harbourside village is a delight to explore, largely unspoilt and still a working port but predominantly famous as home to majestic tall ships, used extensively in historical films. With access to the South West Coast Path within 200 yards and the Eden Project, Heligan Gardens and the sailing town of Fowey only short car jaunts away, there is plenty to keep everyone happy, but if filming happens to be taking place you will just want to sit on the harbourside and watch the magnificent sailing ships elegantly manoeuvring out in the bay.
