Lower Deck is a light, sunny ground floor apartment ideal for families or couples, located just half a mile up the steep hill from Coverack’s scenic harbour, pub and shops. Accessed by exterior steps which also lead up to the front door to The Poop Deck (1985 – the first floor apartment), Lower Deck is bright and contemporary with a relaxed atmosphere and lovely views, towards Chynhalls Point and the open sea in one direction and across the village and bay in the other. The sitting-area’s sofas make the most of the view, and a pale wood dining-table stands in front of glass doors which open onto a private rear patio. The living-room also has an open galley-style kitchen, beyond which the hall leads to two twin bedrooms and the bathroom. At the end, the en suite double bedroom has the best views, with French doors leading onto a narrow balcony (please take care with children) above the exterior entrance steps. With the spectacular coastal path close by, the beach within walking distance, and the Lizard peninsula’s many other picturesque coves and fishing villages just a short drive away, there is something here for everyone.
