Elsa’s Cottage
1945 is no longer with usIf you were looking for cottages like Elsa’s Cottage, how about trying these:
Paul is a peaceful village set above picturesque Mousehole. A pub, an ancient church and a stream enhance this perfect holiday setting. A walk down the hill to Mousehole leads to some excellent restaurants, curiosity shops and galleries, not to mention rock pools and a sandy cove where you can paddle and watch the boats bob on the tide. Elsa’s Cottage is a comfortable retreat, the second in a terrace of five cottages which, although it has no garden, has a front sitting-out area (over which runs a neighbours’ right of way). Slate floors in the well-equipped kitchen/diner are in keeping with this 200 year old former almshouse, and the cosy sitting-room has a multi-burner to warm cooler evenings (this can heat the radiators in the bedrooms). Both these downstairs rooms have open beamed ceilings and window seats. Stairs lead to the three bedrooms and family bathroom, decorated in neutral colours. The twin room has a television and DVD player, offering a great place for the children to watch their favourite films.
