Tide Watch

1858 is no longer with us

If you were looking for cottages like Tide Watch, how about trying these:

The pretty village of Noss Mayo clings to the hillside at the mouth of the Yealm Estuary. Busy with dinghies and rowing boats (deep keel yachts have to anchor in deeper water around the corner), there are views of the water from the large first floor balcony of this lovely three-storey property. Tide Watch is at the end of a terrace (last property on right in photograph), literally yards from the water. The village itself has a couple of pubs and across the river, Newton Ferrers has a butcher, a post office, a small supermarket and a pharmacy. Entering on the ground floor, adjoining the hall is a large integral store-room with a utility-area and a basic wet-room. On the first floor the open plan living-room is decorated in soft green and cream, and has floor to ceiling windows out to the sunny balcony (please take care with children). On the half-landing is the bathroom (please note there is no shower just a shower attachment) and up again are the two bedrooms, both with water views. Close to all the attractions of the South Hams, Tide Watch is a stylish and comfortable property.
