Two Shoes Cottage
1815 is no longer with usIf you were looking for cottages like Two Shoes Cottage, how about trying these:
In the Dartmoor National Park, this delightful detached barn conversion dating back to the 1600s is tucked away behind the Owner’s 16th Century farmhouse – the only livestock are chickens, geese and the Owner’s friendly dog. The Tavistock road runs behind the farmhouse. Sitting outside on the west-facing patio, the views are of rolling fields with the hazy rise of Bodmin Moor in the far distance. The cottage has soft comfy furniture, slate floors, exposed stone walls, the odd low lintel (take care if you are tall), a wood-burner and a turned oak staircase which leads up to a mezzanine sitting-area, where the westerly views can be enjoyed. Dartmoor is on the doorstep, Tavistock, with good restaurants and a busy pannier market, is only a short drive away and Cornwall is also easily accessible. Please note, no smoking is permitted within any area of the grounds at this property.
