The Old Stables
1679 is no longer with usIf you were looking for cottages like The Old Stables, how about trying these:
Set down a leafy lane on the beautiful Roseland peninsula, this lovely semi-detached cottage was once a stable for the small manor house next door, home of the welcoming Owners and your only near neighbour. From the carved antique bedstead in the master bedroom to the sparkling cut glass wall sconces, the attention to detail and stylishness of this cottage will delight all. The cosy kitchen/diner is warmed by an oil-fired Rayburn and the comfortable sitting-room has an efficient wood-burner to fend off any evening chills. The bedrooms share the family bathroom and have excellent beds and high quality linens to help you relax. An additional shower in the outside laundry-room is useful after a day at the beach. Restaurants and galleries in the sailing town of St Mawes are a short distance away, and the King Harry Ferry crosses the River Fal to National Trust gardens at Trelissick and the maritime town of Falmouth. The Owners are happy for guests to walk their land, stock permitting.
