Stoke Lodge
1315 is no longer with usIf you were looking for cottages like Stoke Lodge, how about trying these:
North Devon is an unspoilt retreat with a coastline renowned for spectacular views, especially from Hartland Point and Hartland Quay, boasting wonderful walks, with the coastal path winding along high cliffs to coves and beaches. Stoke Lodge is a charming 1920s house on the outskirts of Stoke village near the Devon and Cornwall border. The Owner, who lives in the main house, has converted a wing into spacious and quite separate accommodation. Half a mile or so from the Quay itself, with a lovely view of Blackpool Mill beach from almost every room (see photograph), this is a delightful property. The sitting/dining-room, with French doors to a small raised patio, overlooks the Owner’s beautiful gardens which guests are welcome to use (please take care with children around the two ponds). The well-fitted kitchen has glass-panelled walls so even the cook can enjoy the vista. Upstairs are two pretty bedrooms with captivating sea views. Stoke Lodge is perfect for a holiday whatever the weather, and ideal for exploring the delights of both counties. This property is not available to young children, although a baby up to 12 months old is welcome.
