A wonderful awning covers the raised decking area which leads to the entranceway. Enter the yurt and you'll be greeted by a magical interior full of character. A gorgeous timber frame holds up fantastic canvas which creates a lovely snug atmosphere. Natural light floods in through the brilliant Toono window at the top of the yurt while an indulgent wood-burning stove keeps the space nice and toasty in the evenings.
A charming compact kitchen-area sits to the side of the yurt complete with a 2 ring gas hob with a kettle as well as a water container full of drinking water. Prepare some warming suppers and enjoy them at the intimate wooden dining-table. There are some truly idyllic spots to relax and unwind such as the fabulous timber day bed and there's plenty of storage for all your holiday essentials in the large wardrobe. In the centre of the yurt sits the luxurious double bed which is ideal for snuggling up after a big day of adventures.
Outside there are plenty of places to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The raised decking area is perfect for enjoying the crisp fresh air with a cup of coffee in the mornings while the rustic barbecue is brilliant for preparing delicious al fresco meals.
You'll find a compost loo a few steps away from the yurt and there is also a washroom on site in the quirky shepherd's hut that has allocated showers for both Gorse and nearby Rowan Yurt. You'll also find extra shared cooking facilities and a charming dining area.
The owners are happy to help with anything they can to make sure your stay is as dreamy as it can be such as providing special locally produced eco charcoal and extra logs for the wood-burners.
