Tucked away on the outskirts of Dartmoor National Park sits Great Links Yurt, a wonderfully dreamy hideaway full of charm that is perfect for a family retreat to the wilderness. There are breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside on offer here as well as a fabulous array of rustic luxuries to enjoy, making it the perfect place to enjoy the great outdoors.
Step inside your home-from-home and you'll be greeted by an enchanting space full of gorgeous furnishings that create an extra special atmosphere. There's plenty of space for all the usual home comforts that include a delightful kitchen area with a single ring gas hob and a luxurious wood-burning stove which keeps the yurt nice and toasty in the winter months. The inviting futon beds are perfect for your little ones while the delightful dining-table is great for cosy family suppers. At the end of a busy day of exploring, relax on the beautiful king-size bed which sits proudly in the centre of the yurt topped with plush bedding and snug blankets that ensure a great night's sleep.
The outside space is just as delightful as the inside with plenty of little hideaways to relax and enjoy the gorgeous views out to Dartmoor. Delve into your favourite book on the fantastic hammock or pick a spot on the large stretch of grass and soak up the Devon sunshine. The wooden picnic table provides a superb place for al fresco dining in the evening while the rustic fire-pit is great for late night stargazing. Wander further around the site and you'll find a beautiful wood-fired hot tub with fabulous views across the valley. You also won't find much better places to unwind than in the wonderful barrel sauna which looks out towards the spectacular Dartmoor countryside and can be booked by talking to the friendly owners.
Should you fancy a freshen-up after a long day on the beach, you'll be spoilt for choice with a gorgeous outdoor shower as well as a luxurious shared shower-room that is finished with wonderful, exposed stone walls. You'll also find some extra utilities here including a fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, washing machine and tumble-drier. This area is shared with Little Links Yurt, but please note you will have complete privacy within your retreat.
