The interiors are presented to the very highest standard. Every room is full of character and creativity.
This is the panoramic view from the garden in front of cottage - unspoilt countryside as far as the eye can see.
The ground floor is an open plan layout with a friendly warm feel but also plenty of space.
The kitchen and dining area are to one end of the ground floor.
Deep luxurious sofas make a very relaxing living area at the other end of the ground floor.
The wood-burning stove adds that special touch of character and atmosphere.
This beautiful double bedroom has an antique bed and luxurious bed linens.
Another view of this bedroom gives you an idea of the space.
The window looks out over the gardens and the fabulous view beyond.
The decorative bed frame is a romantic touch.
There is a contemporary family bathroom with a bath and fitted shower. The historic door balances perfectly with the sparkling white fittings.
The bathroom looks out over the patio and side garden -  glimpses of the countryside whilst lazing in the bath!
Even the bathroom is styled with beautiful detatils to add colour.
This bedroom looks out over the beautiful gardens and across the valley beyond. There is plenty of room for a travel cot should you need one.
This bedroom can be set up as a super-king sized 6ft bed or as twins.
This is the same room when it has been prepared as a twin room for guests.  Just let the owner know what you prefer and it will be set up as you wish.
The twin beds are comfy 3ft singles so great for adults as well as for children.
Even the landing is an attractive feature. For a very old cottage the interior  is deceptively spacious.
The old panelling in the kitchen area is used to great effect.
The owner's passion for collecting interesting artefacts and artwork has been put to good use throughout the cottage.
Legars Cottage is full of character and history and has the most amazing views.
The patio enjoys sunshine throughout the day and is very private as it is to the side of the cottage.
Your own doorstep garden adds to the welcome when you arrive.
This is the whole farmhouse. The owner lives at the far left-hand end and gives you complete privacy. Your patio and side garden are tucked to the right of the cottage and are not overlooked at all.
The nearby Ashclyst Forest is full of paths and peaceful walks.

Sidmouth, a Regency town with lovely pebble beaches, is a short drive away.

Pricing

All prices are £ per week per cottage. Where applicable the prices are inclusive of VAT. The prices are specified for Saturday changeover dates.

For weekly holidays or short breaks beginning on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday the price for the following Saturday applies. For those beginning on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday the price for the previous week applies.

Bed linen and towels are included in the price. In addition, many cottages also include central heating within the price and this should be taken into consideration when comparing prices. There are no extra charges for cots or high chairs where they are listed in the property description on the website.

A non-refundable booking fee of £28 is payable per booking.
